The first time I used Josie Bloom was to fix the horrible amateur job that was done by another faux finisher. Josie transformed that room from embarrassing to gorgeous!
That gave my previously gun-shy self the confidence to do redo my kitchen walls. I have a deep cranberry colored lampshade
with black shadowings in my kitchen. I wanted THAT color on my walls. Josie made that previously flat beige wall into that exact coloring and created some sort of old plaster texture that makes my kitchen look lush and rich. I love it.
Next came my dining room and bedroom ceilings. She turned my flat white tray ceiling into a beautiful gold. I don't mean just a gold color. I mean a rich, deep, dark shadowy gold that looks like it's made of old real gold!
On yet another occasion she created marble out of white. There are two columns separating my dining room and foyer. They were white, and now they are a brown marble. I showed these to many guests at my home and every time I do, I am still amazed that they are not made of real marble. Amazing.
Finally, in my master bath, I got to see the "mural" side of Josie. I love the artist Alphonse Mucha. She created a mural that seems like a painting Mucha would have loved. I feel like I live in a mansion, LOL.
Anyway, needless to say, I am so proud of my home and because of that, I want to tell the world about this artist. You will love her work, her professionalism and her personality.
