Gibbs was recommended to me by someone in my family and I am so grateful I went with them. From beginning to end we've had a GREAT experience with Gibbs. Nathan and team did an incredible job- the design, the planning, communication and installation felt seamless and exceeded my expectations. They were very thoughtful about the look and feel we were going for as well as what plants would work best for us to realistically maintain. Nathan was also very clear with us on how to care of the yard and plants and did a great job setting our expectations on the care and growth process of all our plants. Our yard is just beautiful and has become a great space for our family. Not to mention I have had so many neighbors stop by to ask who did our landscaping- happy to share that it was Gibbs.

I wouldn't recommend them. The way they planted the plants. There was some issues with the water. The water was so key during late early summer. I got them through the summer. They ended up dying. I didn't have all my plants back this year. I had spent thousand to get them replaced. Over eleven plants had died. I got quote from him that was three times than someone else. I don't think they did a good job on what to plant on part sun, part shade environment. I am worried about my hydrangeas not making it, and its May 11th, and I see they are distressed. I am very disappointed on how its growing in. Its too many plants. Too much back there for the space. They charged me more. I am not satisfied with the work. Its suppose to be a high quality company. You can tell it more when it develops. Its been a year. You can tell what is stressed and what has died. I mean you understand where water is in your back yard, where the sun is. Its one on one landscaping knowledge. I love the back yard, but I see the flaws of rushing it. To finish one yard, and not doing it correctly. To avoid plants dying, and unsatisfied customer.

Gibbs Landscape Company was great to work with! Michael Gregory was the architect that I worked with and he was a man of his word.  It is so difficult these days to find a company with integrity who will stand behind their work and do what they say they will do but Gibbs is a shining star in my book.  Like any project, there were things that did not go as planned but when I raised the issues there was never any pushback and they brought the right people back out to address each situation.  I am extremely happy with the service they delivered and I will definitely use them for any future work I have done.

The representative, a landscape architect, did an extremely poor job of communicating, and supervising the job as he said he would, At the end of the job, Gibbs charged us for almost $1000 of work they never did and since the finished project was apparently never inspected, they did not know this until I pointed it out. They also failed to properly remove the existing vegetation so weeds and grass grew back in the beds withing 6 weeks. Our representative in addition to failing to communicate and supervise the project, I am convinced flatly lied to us on several occasions. He claimed to have been on site, but I am retired was home the days Gibbs was here and I never saw him. I asked for a quote on at least two occasions, on maintaining the new plants and he never passed this along to the company as he said he would, hence I never got a call back. (He could have just told met hey were not interested in a maintenance contact in the first place.) Worst of all, I contacted him when the weeds and grass began to take over the new plants, and he promised to have his crew leader visit the property. I confirmed that he never did this, and in utter frustration I contacted Mr. Peter Copses by registered mail. To his credit, he called me back immediately after receiving the letter and after about a 45 minute conversation, he agreed to essentially re-do the whole project. He sent a crew to to remove all the new plants and then remove all the pre-existing vegetation as specified in the original contract, put chemicals down to destroy the roots, then after a suitable time frame, reinstalled the plants. The final result looks great.
Mr. Copses proved to be a man of honesty and integrity and I appreciate very much his doing the right thing. However, I would probably not do business with Gibbs again. Despite the fact that they have an outstanding reputation for quality work, the work in my case was quite expensive and generally rushed and poor the first time. Witness the fact that they redid the project without hesitation. However, I would never deal with the representative that set it up, since I consider him to be of poor character and lacking integrity.

Gibbs did a wonderful job with our project. Our landscape architect was fantastic and we are so happy with our project. They have a very professional staff that follows up with every detail. Highly recommend this company if you are looking for high quality landscape services. They are one of the service companies we have ever used!

It is absolutely beautiful. They did plants, design work, it was the complete package. We now have them lined up for weekly and anuual jobs.

I think they do a great job. They are efficient and conscientious. If there is ever a problem they respond quickly.

Once a plan/estimate was made with Peter Copses, the office called to schedule an appoitnment. An experienced landscaper was in charge of the team of 2-3, of whom 1 spoke English. They have come out 3 times now and the same group comes out. Very happy with the work they do. probably more expensive but worth the expertise and professionalism, in my opinion. The pruning of my Japanese Maples looks great.

Gibbs was a little slow getting the bid information to us, but were polite and professional. Pricing was comparable to the other bids we received, but another company was ready to start immediately and was easier to contact and more prompt to respond to messages, changes and questions.

The project went pretty smoothly, we had a few issues along the way but they were always addressed and corrected promptly.

I would not do anything differently

They provided several designs for our yard. We chose the one that caught our attention. They did a very professional job as my yard is beautiful. They designed it so we can maintain the beds ourselves. I would recommend them.
