I learned a lot on this driveway replacement. First, I am very satisfied with the price that we paid, $6K less than the next highest quote. I learned from the web to require 4,000 lb. concrete instead of 3,000' which did add a small premium. The contract process was a bit painful, it took several messages to finally get the document delivered and signed. I must compliment Arc Construction on completing the rather large project in only 3 days, as stated in the contract and they started on the exact day that was originally discussed. The driveway is long, uphill and curved so it was not a small job at all. The only negative was the final cleanup. There was a 3-5 inch gap at the side of the new concrete after the forms were removed. I spent about 6 hours filling in the gap with gravel. But, overall, the new driveway looks great and we are extremely happy to not see the old cracked stretch of concrete any longer. I would hire them again, in fact one of my neighbors is now talking to them about replacing their driveway.
