We were so pleased with Chuck and his staff, especially Heidi, office manager, and Mark, electrician for our job. The quote included a turnkey job..No need for us to contact a plumber to  do the gas hookup . Chuck and his staff were very knowledgeable and professional. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with Perkins Generator and Sales. The job was competitively priced; used the best materials (Generac);  we were informed as the work was being completed at the next step and allowed input on which electrical lines were critical and needed to be transferred to the circuit breaker box for the generator. They do between 125 to 150 generator installations per year and have been in business for many years. Obviously know what they are doing. So glad we found them on Angie's list.

Mr. Perkins came to the house to evaluate what we needed and quotes a price. After comparing his bid to another we received we selected Perkins to install the generator. The installation crew arrived on time and completed the installation as agreed. All of the people associated with Perkins were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

They did a good job. They were on time, polite and professional.

Installation was professional and went smoothly. Each person on the job site and in the office were knowledgeable, courteous and professional and seemed concerned with doing a great job and customer service.  Installation was tested and operated properly during a short power outage apparently caused by wind two days after the installation.

Perkins did a great job. They were able to get the installation done quickly, with everything very nicely done. They explained clearly how it operates and, although we have yet to have a power outage, it automatically started last week, as it does every week, for a few minutes to keep it lubed up and operational. I would absolutely use them again.

They seem to know what they are doing and are pleasant to deal with. They are good and do a good job.

I want to praise the responsiveness and expertise and generosity of Perkins Electric --- especially the person named Heidi.  Here is why:  We have a large Generac standby power generator in our private residence  and this morning we lost power.  No bib deal. we've had it for almost 6 years and it always comes on-line when we lose electric power. NOT THIS TIME!  After talking with Heidi on the phone, she talked me through several items to check to see if it was something I could remedy myself.  Several minutes of trouble-shooting made me realize that Heidi was right in suspecting a low battery even though the generator's own low battery warning LED was not on or flashing. Heidi's patient persistence saved me hundreds of dollars and has gained Perkins Electric a new loyal customer. It is thoroughly satisfying and inspiring to realize that companies like Heidi's workplace still remain.

Perkins Electric installed my residential standby generator several years ago and did an excellent job. They recently performed a regular maintenance under the service agreement. This continuing relationship always reminds me of what a great company they are - professional, friendly, and easy to work with.

Installation of the generator was smooth except for some confusion when they reinstalled my existing surge suppressor and signal bridge in my existing load center.

Helpful courteous person answered when called, appt scheduled easily and promptly, worker arrived 30 min after scheduled time, was friendly and professional, worked quickly and efficiently.

The electrician arrived on time and was a pleasure to have in the house. He did his work thoroughly and I was especially grateful that he was able to repair the chandelier for me. Everything works just fine and I would recommend him.

I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY VERY HIGHLY FOR INSTALLING GENERATORS. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SKILLED IN INSTALLING THEM. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, PERKINS IS VERY QUICK TO COME OUT AND FIX IT. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND VERY NICE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH.
