They were in a real hurry. On most if the inside wall of the fence, the nails protrude about 1/4",... they used nails that were too long. Instead of setting the posts on solid concrete, they just put the posts in the holes, dumped in dry concrete, and then filled the hole up with water.
Within the first year or two, the fence started to lean over, and some of the joints were pulling apart. Some of those joints now are seperated.
Update December 2014. For a couple years now the fence has been starting to lean over,.. probably because they just dug the holes for the fenceposts, stuck in the fenceposts, poured in some dry concrete and watered it. If I hadn't installed lots of bracing on the side of the fence to hold it up, some of the fencing would be tilting over 30 degrees.
