We are a full service heating and air conditioning company ready to provide any of your HVAC needs including, planned maintenance, repairs, system replacement, and new installations in residential or light commercial applications. We are fully licensed and insured and offer 1 year labor warranties on any system install as well as 30 day warranties to any service preformed. Although we have posted operation times of 8-5 we do have a service technician available after hours if required. During the summer my house used to have a hot side and a cool side--but not any more. After reviewing my attic ductwork Scotty's recommended replacing the original plenum and flex ducts supplying air to the hot side of the house with a hard pipe trunk and branch layout. The new ductwork solved the problem at a very reasonable price. Now it is cool and comfortable in any room of my house. Scotty's did a great job from start to finish; I couldn't be more pleased.

Best service ever in any profession. Patiently discussed all options and allowed me to make my own decision as best systems for us. Units were up and running in less time than expected. Chris and Wally showed up and got right to work. Chris really knew his stuff but was very friendly and courteous. They figured out the problem fast and we were pleasantly surprised it wasn’t anything too serious. This company has a great group of professionals working for it!

Went terrible. They installed the air handler in the middle of a room that is to be finished in the future, put the thermostat in the master bedroom and also provided return ducts that were 300 too low (in terms of air flow). They abandoned us after we fired the contractor thus leaving us with no installation warranty. We paid for the HVAC rough out of our bank loan and had to spend another est. $3k to finish it. Very shady that they'd take instructions from a builder not use us after we paid the builder/them money to do the job.

"Thank you for your review. Last I heard, there was a work stoppage on the property due to a dispute between the General Contractor and property owner. It is very unfortunate that you and your contractor came to an impasse so great that it resulted in the termination of your contract. That in effect nullified any obligation of his hires to continue on the project as there were no assurances of being paid for any further work. Scotty's was paid for the completed rough in portion of the HVAC system by the contractor we had agreement with, but have not received a dime toward the final trim and equipment set up as you indicated. It is somewhat disturbing to me, the owner of Scotty's, that you chose to hire another HVAC contractor before you and I were able to actually have a conversation and attempt to work out any agreement. Be that as it may, the HVAC company you chose to hire SHOULD be the company that provides your labor warranty and should have charged you appropriately to inspect the rough in work and to assume the responsibility. The manufacturer warranties will all be in force as long as you match your indoor and outdoor units per the manufacturer's recommendations. Be sure once your new HVAC contractor is complete that you register your equipment with the manufacturer to extend your warranties from 5 years out to 10 years. As for the scope of work we performed on the initial rough in, all was approved and agreed to with the General Contractor and passed county inspections per code with no discrepancies reported."

Very well. We were provided a thorough estimate of the work that needed to be done. The inspection of our A/C system was thorough. For both the estimation and service appointments, the technician was on-time. The services were performed in a timely manner. We were always informed about what repairs were being done. This company is efficient and honest! We would use this company again without hesitation.

Professional installation. Crew of at least five men along with the owner arrived on time (8) in the morning. The owner and I discussed the installation process while the crew began work. Even though he left a few minutes later I appreciated the fact that he was there as work got underway and explained the process to me. The crew dismantled the old units, cleaned up, and installed the new units by noon. The new units run flawlessly. The crew was highly efficient and professional. They did exactly what they said they would do as outlined in the estimate and contract. No bad surprises just good work. I highly recommend Scotty's.

Very well. Technicians saw they were going to be a little later than scheduled and called to tell us - no problem, very professional. Gentleman who went upstairs to set thermostat was concerned about tracking on carpet. I told him to go ahead since we had laminate. They finished quickly.

Tim Scott is incredibly professional. I called him on a Saturday around 1pm hoping to find someone to fix our A/C since it had quit working that day (a 96 degree day). He immediately answered my call and although he had two jobs ahead of mine, he was able and willing to come out and take a look at our unit that evening. We had to let the unit thaw out for 24 hours - he came back on a Sunday (with NO exorbitant emergency fee, only the regular service fee!) and was able to fix our problem.

I can?t say enough good things about Scotty?s HVAC. I first used Scotty?s in 2013 when I was renting a home. They came out on very short notice to diagnose and resolve a cooling issue with one of our units. The price was reasonable. In 2014/15 I built a custom home with a very well respected builder, Cranford Homes. While in discussions with the builder about various subs he used, it turned out, the builder had already been using Scotty?s for years. Since we?ve moved in, we?ve had a couple minor issues that have always been resolved quickly. Their response time is prompt. Each knowledgable technician that has come out has been respectful and professional. I have and will continue to recommend Scotty?s HVAC.

I have kept an annual service contract with my original HVAC installer 17 years. When our heating went out, their technician told me yesterday it would be $2000 to replace the fried circuit boards (2 zones) and burned out motor -- that it would take up to a week to find the right parts. He recommended replacing the entire system for $8,000 -$13000.
I sought a second opinion from Scotty's, whom I found on Angies List. Scotty's technician, Jeff, was prompt and courteous. He persevered after hours to complete the repairs that night. The total bill came to $460.
Jeff's integrity, perseverance, and skill has won my business for the remainder of my life here.

Earlier in the week they had to order a part, It was scheduled to be in Forest Park on Friday by 4:00 p.m. We live in Fayetteville. They picked up the part came to my house and installed the part which took about 11/2 hours. This was on Friday before Labor Day. Thanks to their work ethic I had cooling in my house over Labor Day weekend and did not have to wait until Tuesday for the repair.

Scotty's is great and prompt. I called at 1030am on a Saturday, they came by 1115am. Fixed my problem and were on there way. Much better service than other HVAC places I have used.
