The power washing, painting and carpentry work performed by John Meiller on my home were of sub-standard quality and resulted in significant damage to my: 1. Concrete three-car, four-year old driveway ( The top layer of concrete was stripped off by excess power washer pressure, and can only be restored to its previous condition by being removed and replaced entirely) 2. Exterior lighting fixtures (the paint was stripped off by excess power washer pressure - I had to repaint all fixtures myself); 3. Home brick fascia (Bricks were blown off the front of my hosue by excess power washer pressure and were left in the flower beds); 4. Professionally landscaped lawn and yard (Multiple areas of Zoysia grass were killed by careless chemical spills and mulch in front flower beds was blown into surrounding yard - I was forced to replace grass and sod at my own expense ); 5. Deck and fence (Top rail boards that were replaced were not pressure-treated wood, as claimed, and popped off after less than a couple of weeks). This is only the start of the disastrous experience of working with this firm. They were not willing to work with me to repair the damage they casued. They issued an invoice three days after leaving the premises (despite my numerous and repeated complaints in-person and via email regarding my dissastisfaction and the damage caused to my home). And they filed suit agasint me in court (for payment) EIGHT DAYS AFTER COMPLETING TH E WORK, again despite my repeated communications and attempts to have them remedy the damage they caused. In 22 years of home ownership, this is the worst experience I've had with a home contractor. Steer very, very clear. ;
