First of all he was late to come to do the estimate for the project. Then when he sent over proposal he did not include installing shower on the quote. He did not put it down in his notes. So he forgot everything we communicated to him about the shower. He lost the measurements for the shower and ask me to measure sheetrock to sheetrock and tell him the measurement. So I went online and found a shower based off what he told me. So when they came to do the work, the shower was the wrong size. So he was telling me what my husband did wrong. Honestly, he should not even have asked us to to get the measurements, he should have came and did the measurements again since he lost it. So I had to go thru the headache of getting on the phone and getting all the product with the shower picked up and order another one. Now you would think he would offer us a discount for this inconvience, considering that it was his fault, because he lost the measurements. We had to go without a shower for 1 week. I had to put another shower on my credit card. Another issue happened with them putting up the new granite countertops in the kitchen. They knocked our dishwasher machine out of place and now it is not working properly. I told John several times about fixing this and he did not. He told me he would, however, he did not. So now I had to call our warranty people out to fix it. We have went 2 weeks without a dishwasher. So the new shower came in and they put it up, however, they cracked it. John asked my husband about purchasing another shower. I told him no, I was not putting anything else on my credit card. So John purchased it. So they put up the new shower when it came in, however, when my husband took a shower the shower moved when my husband leaned on it. So they had to come back. A project we were told would take 3 days took 1 month. My sister was going to use their service, however, I told her not to. I do not recommend using this construction company. John is a nice guy and they did okay work, however, professionally my husband and I did not like the service we received.

Pat did a very good job. We had wood floors put in, some siding repairs, deck work along with fence work. Overall Pat’s crew did a very good job. I was impressed because everyday Pat would come by and check on his crew. There were a few small things that I pointed out to Pat and they were corrected immediately. I was happy with the work.

I interviewed 7 contractors to finish the basement and build the sunroom. J P Dennis was the most informative out of all the contractors, asking questions and bringing items to my attention that would need to be addressed and considered. Items that I was completely unaware would be added expense. None of the other contractors even mentioned those concerns. He is also reasonably priced. I have been in homes he has built and I knew he provides qualify work. We are very happy with the work he and his team completed.

The project went well. We had a leak behind a wall in our secondary bathroom. The bathroom had to be totally torn out, including tile floor, tile tub surround and cast iron tub. We replaced with all new vanity/sink combo, tile walk in shower, new tile floor and turned one section of what was a jack and jill bathroom into a walk in closet. Pat and his guys were prompt and his timeline was exactly as laid out in our contract. We had a few unexpected but each time they were handled to our complete satisfaction.

It went really smooth, they were able to work around the two bathroom and they were able to kept the house clean. They have a lot of good suggestions to save money and they were able to solve the problems on the job.

I contracted J P Dennis Homes to finish my basement space. They were very detail oriented with regard to letting us know the projected weekly progress to expect and when they would be on the job. Everything went as planned and we were delighted with the finished product. The quality of workmanship surpassed the quality of the upstairs portion of the house. We received  three bids on this project but went with J P Dennis based on his professionalism and the fact that he would be on the job daily working instead of subbing all the work to others. We will use J P Dennis on future  projects around the home and recommend to friends and neighbors.

They always did the work promised within the time frame agreed upon.  Very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was going to happen, would highly recommend for any home improvement project.

Our bathroom turned out beautifully! We had the builder grade cabinets changed out  & new counter tops installed. The fiberglass shower/tub combo was removed & a new tile shower was installed. The vinyl flooring was replaced with tile and lastly new light fixtures were installed. We could not be more pleased with the finished product! Mr. Dennis was very easy to work with and we would definitely recommend him in the future!
