I bought my Volvo XC60 last March. I had to go to Atlanta to buy it because this dealership did not have what I wanted. They tried to sell me other XC60's, one of which had a cracked windshield. Of course they said they would repair it but not what I was looking for. They were trying to sell me anything to get our money. We went to Altanta, to Volvo of Marietta and were treated like gold and received exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately I have to use the Savannah site for routine maintenance because they are the only dealership in the area besides Hilton Head which is owned by the same person. They do not take good care of or clean their loaner cars out so I end up driving dirty cars. This time they gave me a Mitsubishi which was peeling of paint and again dirty. It was not a vehicle close to the car I am used to driving and couldn't figure out why when I started driving that I couldn't get it to go past 30mph. Finally I figured out the controls. No one explained the vehicle to me before giving it to me other than to say "sorry we are all out of Volvo loaners". I have never been treated so poorly by a dealership. I traded another expensive foreign car for this one for practicality and boy do I miss the old service department I dealt with when I had the other car!
I will say that their Parts Manager John is excellent. He took care of a damaged bumper I had incurred during a trip several months back. He has a gentlemanly southern style. Maybe the northern guys hired there should take note.

My experience has gone very well. I have been using this company since 2001. The staff is very professional and highly knowledgeable in their field The pricing is reasonable and I have been pleased with the outcome of their services. I would recommend this company to others.

They always do a good job. They are very convenient. They have always been really good about picking me up or drop me off, if I need to go to a mall or something. They are very friendly. They do a good job. I've never had any problem with any of the work they've done. I like that they are honest, reliable and friendly. I think their price is probably a little higher than a few independent, but they are worth it.

Volvo of Savannah has been servicing my Volvos for about 4 years and I am extremely pleased with their service. Initially, when I first brought my car there I competively shopped their pricing and discovered to my surprise that they always beat pricing from both small independant service providers to the larger chains. For example, I needed four new tires for my 2003 Volvo S80, I priced about 5 different stores and found that Volvo of Savannah not even beat their prices, but with a far superior brand of tire. They even had a coupon for a free alignment when you purchased four tires, the savings were substatial. The list of savings go on and on, from the purchase of a Volvo OEM battery, to timimg belt replacement,
Usually I leave my car in the morning for the day and John the driver, who is a very pleasant man, gives me a complimentary ride to work. Usually Holly will call me before the end of the day to ask what would be a good time for John to return to pick me up to get my car back. It is a great service and really simplifies my busy day. The car is always washed and vacuumed at no extra charge. Volvo of Savannah by far did not only meet my expectations but totally blew them off the chart.
The owner, Mr Ralph Tolman can usually be found in the servcie area, is always accessible and is very proud of his operation as he should be and the attentive customer service and professionalism that is demonstrated by all his employees.
By the way, I am retired from over 25 years in the retail automotive sales and service industry and are no push over. I know many of the tricks and have witnessed first hand many horror shows in this type of work and can be a tough customer. This review was totalled unsolicited by anyone at Volvo of Savannah and they have no knowledge of me submitting this review. In my opinion they are the best.

The first time I took it in they just replaced the temperature sensor not the wiring harness. They charged me for that service even though I had given them the code because I had another Volvo mechanic look at it and he told me exactly what it was. He just didn't have the manpower to get the wiring harness replaced. I told Volvo exactly what it was and they did another repair and charged me for it. The air conditioning sensor went out again and then they charged me again for the wiring harness service. They gave me a loaner car the second time but for only a day and it took 1 1/2 weeks both times to get the repairs done. In total I paid for twice the service and only got a loaner car for one day out of about three weeks. I asked them if they would credit the service they did that wasn't needed for the second service and they wouldn't give me a credit or credit me for future service or anything. They completely disregarded my concern. It was a horrible experience and I will never take my car back there. The second time they got it right but I had already told them what needed to be done the first time.
