If you are thinking of purchasing a home in Savannah, you need Russ Strazzella on your team. I began working with Russ several years ago while planning an eventual move across the country to Savannah. Russ took the time to help me learn about the different neighborhoods in Savannah. He genuinely cared about what I wanted and where I wanted to be. He also knew what I needed and how to go about obtaining that in a very aggressive and competitive market. Buying a home can be quite stressful. Selling your home across the country and then moving clear to the other side of the map makes it even more stressful. Add a challenging purchase into the mix and WOW! Russ seriously kept me from losing my mind and throwing in the towel more times that I can count. He is patient, kind, understanding, has a wicked sense of humor, is super smart and will NOT steer you wrong. Every time I drive up to my beautiful new home, I am thankful for Russ and Team Callahan. My husband and I were looking to sell our rental property and interviewed several different realtors. We live 900 miles away and needed to find someone we could trust who could handle a tricky situation. Gia Wilson was kind and confident when we spoke to her on the phone and we knew she would be perfect for the job. We loved her competitive nature and her willingness to go above and beyond for us. She was our eyes and ears and made the selling process so smooth! We ran into a few snags along the way (due to our complicated situation) that Gia handled for us beautifully. When all was said and done, our place went for well over asking price and sold very quickly and with minimal stress on our end. Gia earned every single penny of her commission. Russ and Berry from Team Callahan made first-time home-buying go smoother than I ever expected. I was searching for a home from Atlanta and wasn't able to view many homes in-person, so Russ and Berry quickly made appointments at every location I asked for, and provided me pictures, video, and their honest opinion of each home. Once I found my home, we were able to submit a strong offer and I was able to go under contract quickly. I really trust their judgment, especially since the guys provided options and expectations of how to proceed every step of the process. Plus, Russ and Berry are incredibly friendly and great to work with, and have always answered my many questions, which I really appreciate. I knew very little about the process and what to expect, and Team Callahan helped me out with everything I needed and provided consistent support.

Team Callahan provided us with Russ Strazella: It is hard to know where to begin when reviewing Russ Strazella. I have bought three houses over the course of my life and have worked with numerous, very good people. Russ is head and shoulders above any of them. Smart, honest, fair, patient, resourceful, hardworking nearly to a fault, no pressure, understanding - and did I say smart? Wow! My wife and I have owned 8 homes in 6 states. I've never run into an Agent as good as Gia. You would expect any realtor to have a knowledge of the local area, but where they usually fall short is communication. Gia is absolutely the best! This was incredibly important to us since we moved from out of state. You will love her!

We are new to the Savannah area, Gia was able to take our must have list and guide us to the perfect home. Gia’s knowledge of the many different neighborhoods in Savannah was astonishing. We had a rough closing due to the seller not taking care of items requested after the inspection. The seller had four weeks to get items completed. Unfortunately not one of the items had even been started. Gia in three days was able to take care of every item on the inspection list. Reassuring us that we would make our closing on time. We recommend Gia if anyone is looking to buy or sell a home in Savannah.

Working with Team Callahan and Gia in particular was a fantastic experience! Gia is an absolutely amazing person who is exceptionally good at her job! She helped my wife and I purchase a 2nd home in downtown Savannah this fall. She is an excellent communicator and a great listener. She is so good at understanding and reading people, and makes sure that you understand each other 100%. You simply can't have a misunderstanding, as she is so very good at communicating as well as understanding what you are saying. She knew exactly what we were looking for, what we would or wouldn't like and was completely on point. She was very respectful of our time and budget. She was very upfront and honest in everything, never trying to talk us into or out of anything if it wasn't the right fit. I appreciated very much her honest feedback and her helpfulness when looking at areas of town that we weren't familiar with. I truly feel that she worked very hard to keep my best interest in mind at all times. She went above and beyond in responding to our needs and wants. I can't recommend her or Don Callahan's group enough.

Working with Gia was an absolute delight! We live in Utah and wanted to buy a second home in Savannah to use as a vacation rental and as a place for us to stay when we visit. I reached out to Team Callahan after reading lots of positive reviews online and was connected with Gia. We immediately began communicating over email. Shopping for and buying a home from out of state can be a daunting process and we weren't sure what to expect. Gia expertly guided us through the entire experience. We visited Savannah once in person during this time to look at some houses, but the majority of the process was done remotely. Gia toured houses for us while video chatting so we could feel like we were there. When we got scared or a little freaked out about something, she calmly talked us off the ledge. She really knows her stuff and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. When we went to Savannah to close on our new house we had the pleasure of spending a little time with Gia and meeting several other members of Team Callahan. What a great team of people! I truly respect and admire their company philosophy of giving back to the community. I can't say enough positive things! I really hope we get the opportunity to work with Gia and Team Callahan in the future. I recommend them 100%!

It was a pleasure working with Carol Anne Hazelman of the Don Callahan Real Estate while purchasing our first home in Pooler, GA. The whole TEAM were very professional, informative and always responsive and helpful. They far exceeded our expectations. The transaction was seamless. They recommended I use A Plus Home Inspections (owner, Alex Bates) for my home inspection and Northwest Exterminating (inspector, Wallace Crouch) for my termite inspection/CL100 letter.
