Garage did not catch the problem at first; took it home and it happened again; that being said; I don't think it was that easy a problem to diagnose; it was erratic; garage took vehicle back; fixed problem in engine; they had also fixed brake system in front and rear axle. I thought their price was really reasonable for all the work on that old Jeep. I would use them again

My son's transmission finally went out. He has about 80,000 on the car and no warranty. I used my father's recommendation on this garage and they did not let me down. They did great work. The car drives like new. The work they did was excellent. They are professional and did the work quickly. I had to have a new transmission, since the car is so old, so I thought the price was great.

I called all over town for the best price to install a trailer hitch on my CADI. I bought the hitch on line to get the best price. They gave the best price and the best service. The hitch is well mounted and I would highly recommend them. They were fast professional and down to earth on the price. I thank them for this service.

The dealer I used to go to said my 2002 Honda needed a timimng belt, new moter mounts, and severa other repairs. I went to Southside for another opinion. They said the only repair needed was the timing belt. Because of their honesty and excellent service, I continue to use them for auto service. Recently I went in for a normal oil change, and they uncovered a tire defect, that left un repaired might have resulted in significant issues and safety concerns. The tire was a manufacturers defect and I had the tire replaced. Due to their diligence and attention to detail I continue to use them.

They provide excellent service for good price. They are knowledgeable people. The one thing I don't like is that the place looks like out of a movie. He has all the state of art equipment but still it looks like a movie from the 1940's. The guy, however, knows what he is doing. He is a very good mechanic. They have a incredibly loyal based customers.

The clutch in my Hyundai Elantra started slipping. I took it to Southside Auto Repair on the recommendation of a friend. The owner gave me an estimate as to how much it would cost and the time it would take. Both were fair and reasonable. When I picked my car up, he showed me what had caused the damage in the first place. Also, I was told that the master cylinder was looking worn, but it wasn't replaced because he knew I had only X amount of dollars to spend, but it should hold up for awhile longer. Unfortunately, in about 2 weeks I started losing "power" when I shifted (sorry for the tech term) and I took it back to Southside Auto. Al told me it was the master cylinder after all, but since he could have replaced it before and didn't, he charged me for parts only, not labor, and had it up and running that day. I thought that was pretty honorable of the guy. I'm pretty sure I've used the right terms. If any terms are incorrect, that is my fault and not the mechanic's.
