In the beginning….we realized there was not one company in our area that was doing all of the right things. Every roof we have ever climbed in Coastal Georgia and South Carolina are badly installed… and would fail a manufacturer or code inspection. Every homeowner who calls with a leaking roof…is almost always from faulty work. Every customer we have ever spoke with… has a story to tell of their experience with a bad contractor. My husband spent a lengthy period of time researching potential roofing contractors and the brand of material to be utilized. We narrowed the search down to three companies. It was a difficult decision, but now that the project is completed - we know we made the best choice choosing South Shore Roofing. We are delighted with their honesty, professionalism, communication, follow-through, knowledge, and excellent workmanship. We recommend South Shore wholeheartedly. One small constructive note for improvement would be the final nail pick-up on our grounds; this wasn't a thorough enough job, and so important for all the obvious reasons.

South Shore made this process so seamless, I would readily do business with them again in a heartbeat. Since this was a rental property in a different state, we were not available to meet with the insurance adjuster or see the daily progress. They kept us well informed of the progress with detailed photos as handled all of the insurance filing with the exception of the original claim that I made. They even revisited the porch roof to make sure the shingles were lapped beneath the siding on the 2nd floor to be certain there would be no leaks. I could not be happier.

South Shore really did make my roofing experience easy. Tyler was prompt with the estimate and very responsive by text and phone. Kyle kept me updated once the project began and the working crew was efficient and cleaned as they went. I had a roof removal with some decking replacement and a new architectural roof installed. It looks great and I highly recommend South Shore to friends and family now. Definitely the team to work with!
