I used them for few years and recently in the last couple of months I let them go. The companies are based on who their employees are and sometimes they are very good and other time not so good. They were about average. They came out when they wanted to and one month they missed me and I called to find out what was going on. There is one thing that I want to say about them is the people in the office when you call no matter what the problem is they always take care of it. They are very responsive to their customers that way. The price was average. They never went by any time span to do the work. I planted the lily bulbs several years ago and they would weed whack it thinking it was a weed that poor thing didn't have chance to grow but it used to never happen all the time. I had to tell them it is a flower and not to weed whack here. I didn't know what to do but put up a sign not to whack it. I sometimes had to tell them not to weed whack on it but cut it but they used to look at me dumb founded until the supervisor on the job would ask what's wrong. I told them to cut it back the way it should be and not weed whack it. He would look at the guys and say she is right and don't get the clippers. Not all of them knew what to do. It's a decent size company. The office people are very nice people. I let them go not because I was irritated with them or unhappy with them but it was mainly because I needed to get out and do some physical work. After Sunday I am thinking about recalling them, but I need to get out there.

The 25+ year old front yard landscaping at our house was in serious need of an overhaul. We decided to have Sodman Landscape Design provide us with a new landscape design and also perform the installation.
Sodman had Dan Fischer develop the new layout and design. Mr. Fischer did a superb job. The design is beautiful and a significant improvement over what we had before and it really has improved the curb appeal of our house and lot.
Sodman provided beautiful, healthy grass sod and landscape plants. Their workers were skilled, energetic, professional and courteous. The work was completed efficiently and on schedule. Debra Belitskus, the General Manger, kept us informed as the work progressed and was extremely easy to work with.
The follow-up by Belitskus and her crews since the installation was completed has been nothing short of extraordinary. They have voluntarily returned to our property unannounced on several occasions to tidy things up, to warn us about the coming sub-freezing weather and to make sure that we are satisfied with the work performed. I wish all companies had customer service like this.
It should be noted that we did not solicit competitive bids for our project; we just went straight to Sodman and asked them to submit a proposal and quote. Although the quoted price (after a few adjustments) for our project was higher than we had expected, Sodman has provided good value for that money.
In summary, we are extremely satisfied with the work performed by Sodman Landscape Design and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality, professional landscaping services.

If you have a problem at all, the young lady over there, she will come out and look at the problem and handle the problem. If it is something that we want done extra or if we want them to do something different the next time, they will do that.

They did good, they were great. It takes the right type of work for the sod to take so they did it right, a good job. They just came and did there job.

They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They worked very hard. They were not intrusive. I didn't have to be here, provide over side if I was here, they just came and did their work.

They come out twice a month and they charge me $110 a month. I use this people because they do very good work. If I was not happy with them, the would be out of my life real quick. They have been really good and they did a great job with landscaping. They had to deal with a little lot of old growth, and they have done that very well. When they were landscaping, I was out of town, so I had a lot of questions when I came back, and he came over after work to my home because I could not get off before 5, and he walked me through everything and explained me everything. He will be there when he says he is going to be. I do not have a specific time for them to show up.

My wife purchased fill dirt for our front and back yards to fill in low spots and to level out the yard. We have some spots that the grass is thin and needs dirt. My wife explained what the dirt would be used for. The person sold her the dirt and loaded it in her truck. When my wife got home she noticed there was a lot of rocks in the dirt. She went ahead and spread the dirt in the spots where it was needed. After it rained we found there was an extreme amount of rocks, metal trash such as washers, tin and steel pieces, broken glass including window type glass and bottles of all colors and broken china. This was definitely not the kind of dirt anyone would put in the yard of a home.
