Tiles for the shower walls, bench, niche and curb were chipped when cut. Will, the project manager, said they would be covered when grouted. That was not true. Linear floor drain was to be removable but was grouted in. Solution was to remove grout with a box cutter that left the area around the drain look like it was gnawed instead of cut with a tool. The shower head had 3 settings 2 of them were little more than a trickle. The sink faucet was not tightened to the counter. The painter put 2 divots into my walls. If I didn't see him do it they wouldn't have repaired them. They did patch the divots but I know where they are so I see them every time I walk by. Be very careful with Rickey, the project estimator and Will. Both will tell you what you want to hear and not deliver. RNR had decent reviews but now every time I walk into the bathroom I am reminded of the shoddy work that was done. My mistake was to pay them before the job was complete. Keep a close eye on your job.

They do very good work. The only issues I had were with responsiveness and follow through. I had them remove a bathtub and install a shower and they didn't plane the shower at enough of a decline so now the water stands in the shower and doesn't drain properly. I wanted them to come back to fix that as well as to lower the curtain rods and that never ended up happening. I was willing to pay them to come back and they assured me they would come, and just kept putting me off so I had to hire someone else to come do it. It was really disappointed because they did good work and I really liked Rickey, the owner, but they just never followed through with their promises,

Excellent. Would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. Fantastic crew. Always on time. Went the extra mile to deliver top quality work. Rickey, Will and their team are the hardest working contractors in Savannah.

We had never undertaken a renovation project like this, so the most important thing to us, other than finding someone who would do excellent work, was finding a contractor we could trust. From my first phone call with Rickey Greer (who personally answered every call and almost never missed a single call or text), I knew we were dealing with a pro who would be completely straight with us about all aspects of the project. To be honest, I probably wasn't the easiest customer RNR ever worked with! I'm a bit of a control freak and wanted to be able to handle all of the purchasing of materials, from cabinets and flooring to tile and fixtures -- everything. Seeing that we were trying to do a major renovation on a tight budget, Rickey was willing to give up the mark-up that contractors typically expect on materials so that we could afford to do the project at all. But as far as the quality of the work, there was no cutting corners! Rickey, his partner Will Hudson, and their entire team are the biggest group of perfectionists I've ever met. That meant they were always willing to work with me to be sure every aspect of the renovation was exactly what I wanted. The quality of the craftsmanship was simply exceptional, from carpentry and painting to plumbing and electrical. No matter who was in my house, I was confident in the skills, expertise and professionalism they brought to the job -- and it shows. The house looks absolutely amazing (see before and after photos attached). You don't spend two months working with a team of people without getting to know them beyond the typical, day-to-day small talk. A reno project like ours meant daily contact with the guys from RNR, often followed up with chatty phone calls with Rickey in the evening to plan for the next day or week. We had the pleasure to discover that Rickey and Will -- as well as Rickey's dad, electrician Rick Greer, are some of the best people we've met in Savannah. These guys have big personalities and sarcastic senses of humor that keep you entertained, and their attitude is, once you're a customer, you're part of their extended family. They went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with our renovated home, but more than that, to bring fresh peaches, give us advice about finding our way around town, and generally offer friendship and support. (The other day, I found myself at a traffic light next to Marvin, our master carpenter. We chatted till the light turned green. I miss those guys!) It's not like we didn't have issues or hit snags along the way. This was a huge project, there were delays (my fault, mostly, because of the time it took to get the cabinets I bought online), and as my husband likes to tell people, "I gave her an unlimited renovation budget and she managed to surpass it." But our budget overage was essentially a product of our inexperience and the desire to make upgrades along the way. As for RNR, they gave us a price, we signed a contract, and that's exactly what we paid, to the penny. Funny enough, the best illustration I can give of RNR's extraordinary customer service isn't our renovation, but Rickey's response to Hurricane Matthew. As a Facebook friend of Rickey's, I was able to join in on his Facebook live-tour of the city on Oct. 8 as he drove from home to home, checking to be sure his customer's residences made it through okay. His reassurances to customers/friends who had evacuated revealed a heart of gold and a willingness to extend himself for others. Be warned: The guys from RNR are a couple of good ole boys and Rickey's got a colorful vocabulary. But they're two of the hardest working people you'll ever meet and they'll give you everything they've got. Looking forward to working with them again!

Very well. Rickey, Will and crew started the work 3 days after it was quoted, incredible since this is in the middle of a disaster recovery in this area. Crew was very professional, conscientious and hard working, work done was first rate.

Rickey, Will and all the team at R&R did a fantastic job. They arrive when they say they will and complete the job on time. Probably one of the most efficiently run operations for remodeling that I have seen. Fast is only good if the quality of the work is still there and it was. They also had many great ideas that we had not thought of on our own that were incorporated into the project. I would highly recommend them to anyone doing work on their home or business.

Ricky Greer, the contractor, said he could do it all in two weeks.    When the time came for him to start, he literally showed up with an army.  They all got along great, and worked together under the expert direction of Will, to get the job done on time.

When they finished, it was beyond just amazing, it was a work of art.  We went from a dark galley kitchen to an open concept that makes the whole front of the house feel twice a large.  All the cabinetry fits perfectly together, all the electrics work, and the design flows cleanly from the kitchen into the rest of the house.  I can only describe the intricately tiled backsplash above the new granite counter tops as stunning.

The bathroom went from a yucky wallpapered cave, to a brightly lit, beautifully tiled masterpiece with new lighting, heating, and ventilation, and glass doors. I can go on and on, but hopefully you get the picture.  One more thing though.  Every day, before they left, they cleaned everything up!  There was NEVER a mess left for us to deal with.  They even mopped the floors when needed!

Finally - and this is the icing on the cake - about a week after they had finished - after they had been paid and the checks cleared - Ricky brought out some of his guys to attend to some painting details that had been done, but not done to his satisfaction.  He stayed in regular contact with us throughout the whole process, making sure that we were completely satisfied with everything.  We were, and still are.

The bottom line is this.  You can't get any better than these guys.  I'm adding them to my Christmas list, and will recommend them to everybody I know.

We have a smaller kitchen, so we wanted to figure out a way to add more storage and possibly make the kitchen feel more open.  RNR Home Improvements was able to do both of those things for us. From my initial phone phone call until the day the project was finished, Rickey was prompt in answering my questions, and in checking in with me daily to let me know what was next in the remodel process.  Every single person he sent to work on the kitchen was kind and hard working.  They always cleaned up before they went home in the evenings as well.  The whole remodel went quickly and the kitchen was complete in 2 weeks.  Our new kitchen is absolutely beautiful!!  To everyone at RNR Home Improvements- you all are awesome and you made the remodel process enjoyable!! Thanks so much!  Our next project will be a sunroom...so we'll be calling you again soon!

Took about two weeks to get the windows measured and then another three weeks before windows were installed. Complete installation took about four hours. Windows are very good quality (for vinyl) and the outside trim work was very well done. All debris picked up and hauled away the same day. Very satisfied.

Rickey responded promptly to my inquiry and came out to discuss the job. Preparation of written proposal took longer than promised, but it was around the holidays, so that probably contributed to the delay. Once they started, his crew was diligent, doing something almost every day except Sunday. Tile work was fabulous. Painting and finish work were good but not as impressive as the tile work. Rickey is very personable and responsive to concerns and questions. Price was reasonable but I was disappointed that no documentation was provided for reconciliation of tile allowances.

Rickey, Will, and all the guys at RnR Home Improvements have been amazing!  I did not stress in the least during the entire renovation of my master bathroom.  Rickey communicated with me almost daily to let me know what to expect for the upcoming days. All of the guys that I met were wonderful.  In addition, the guys went above and beyond the scope of the job to do a few other small jobs to make my life easier (i.e. fixed outlets in other parts of the house, mounted my television).
What more can I say! There were no surprises with cost.  My final bill matched my quote. They finished the work in the promised time period. And I now have a beautiful, high-quality, bathroom retreat.
RnR will definitely be my first call for future projects!

Such an excellent job I may not have enough superlatives to describe it!  Everyone was kind, polite and professional every step of the way.  Each worker excelled at his craft.  The tile and painting were more perfect than I have ever seen.  Workers arrived every morning and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the work day.  If you're even just thinking about any kind of home improvement, take my word for it, RNR Home Improvement is the only company you want to call.  I want them to come back to renovate my other bathroom and my kitchen.  Too bad I don't have more rooms for them to work on.

We contacted several contractors in the Savannah area after closing on a home that required some work. Rickey and his team were very quick and were able to begin the job almost immediately after discussing our needs. We initially contacted RNR just to remove a wall, but due to his attentiveness and competitive pricing, our list of projects continued to grow. There was never a moment when I could not get in touch with Rickey in regards to any concerns or questions that came up. Projects were done within the stated time frame and budget, which is very important when doing any type of renovations. Although we blew our initial renovation budget completely out of the water, I have no doubt that RNR had the best prices in town for the quality of work they provide. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone and look forward to using them in the future.

They finished up everything two weeks ago. He did great. He had a really good team that he brought in. They were very professional and very neat. They kept it really clean. I found them on Angie's List. They're definitely the way to go. They're the best ones around here.

Ricky and his team were amazing!!! They were on time and came to replace my patio door and door frame without any problems. They cleaned up after their mess and were nothing but polite and professional. From day one, Rickey always stayed in contact with me and I appreciated this very much. I will not hesitate to ask for Rickey's help if I should ever need it again. You will not be disappointed with this company. They are top notch!

Rickey and the boys have done it again! I have used them several times and will continue to do so. They did a complete gut and remodel of my kitchen, den and laundry room. Quote was pretty accurate other than some things I decided to do more upgrades choices for. They stayed on schedule and cleaned up everyday any mess left behind. Everyone that RNR uses are great (I have used the plumber several times for other jobs at another property). The remodel required taking down a wall, doing floors in 2 rooms, cabinets backsplash, a complete gut. At the end I had a list of a few things that I wanted fixed and they were done immediately. I love the guys at RNR and will continue to use them!

Having had many contractor experiences, most of them poor, we shopped Angie's list before trying Rickey. In "Slowvannah" it seems no one is in any hurry to help you...we had attempted to do our jobs with two other contractors before this with fair to poor results. But I was highly impressed that Rickey contacted us very quickly from the inquiry we made through Angie's list, and it only got better from there. We live in NY but have a vacation home in Savannah which we were preparing for rental, so we only had a limited time in Savannah to be able to make the needed repairs and renovations, and coordination was key, timing had to be spot-on. We called several weeks in advance to set up the time for him to come, and he followed up exactly as scheduled.
On the day his crew was to be in, they showed up with a phone call in advance to confirm, and arrived when they said they would. Rickey has a team of about 30 different contractors whom he coordinates, and his operation runs like a well-oiled machine. His contractors were knowledgeable, friendly, and took great care with walls and floors in our historic home. The age of the home presented a few challenges during the job, but everything was readily solved by his team, who presented the options plainly and made recommendations that were excellent.
I'd say our projects were simple ones, and due to his expert scheduling and multiple contractors, his team was able to complete the vast majority of our work within the timeframe he estimated; follow-up was conducted the next day and right on schedule. His pricing was very fair and the work was excellent quality - his teams really know what they are doing and do it well. He was very cognizant of our limited schedule in Savannah and made it work, in spite of his own tight schedules. And the work quality was excellent.
We're planning to do a bath remodel and other work over the next few years, and Rickey will be our go-to. He's unquestionably the best contractor we've ever worked with.
