Dr Boswell is a wonderful surgeon. He is very attentive, and really quite friendly! He met us before surgery, went over the procedure and assured our daughter that all would be fine and she'd feel much better in about a week after her surgery.
Once the surgery was complete, Dr Boswell called us into a conference room and gave us a detailed account of what had been done. He was so reassuring and so wonderful to work with!

I arrived at Memorial Hospital in the late evening and was taken right in. They were prompt and efficient. I got a room right away, a nice large room. After I was in the bed in pain from the labor contractions I was told there were emergency deliveries going on. Though I was in labor there was no doctor available until 7 am the next day. If I were to need medical care that night, they said, a chief resident would deliver my baby. I got through the night with out delivering and when the 7 am shift arrived, I met the nurse who would assist me though out most of my labor and delivery. She was terrific. The actual doctor came in at the very end for what must have been the last 5 minutes of 12 hours of labor. It was ironic to me, that the doctor would be there for so little, and the nurse (who probably gets paid a lot less than the doctor) was there the entire time, supporting me and helping the delivery to happen. But it only made the nurse that much more special during my labor. Again, she was amazing and all the nurses I met durring my two days stay at the Labor and Delivery and Baby Floor were terrific.

Their hours of operation are very accessible. They have broad range of hours. They got some equipment that needed to be rotated out but like a lot of hospitals, they are really watching their bottom line number right now. If anything goes out of order, they put a note on it. There’s not one piece of equipment right now that they’re waiting for repair on. So it’s not like 5 things out of 25 that are broken. I think they are very conscious about what they’re spending and they should be. They have trainers and everything and they are very professional.

Arrived at the ER for a minor injury. The ER unit went on lock down for security reasons.
I'm glad the staff was safe in the back but so much for the customers in the waiting room.
The place was like a zoo.
The entire visit took over four hours. Will go to Candler for quicker service and safety. next time.

Parking is free, but (even though we were told there was) there is NO valet service early in the morning (for early surgery, they want you there at 5:00 a.m.). Directions for finding correct parking area and day surgery entrance were not good and we drove around for quite a while.
The surgery went very well and the professional staff were pleasant and seemed very competent.
The room was not very clean. Floor sticky. Roach in bathroom. Furnishings old, walls/doors scruffy.
After bout of nausea, was told not to drink the tap water; you are provided with ice only and finally learned that you have to order bottled water from the dining service to put in your ice!
The day after a 4-1/2 hour surgery, housekeeping said the bed wasn't working properly, put me in a chair, and disappeared with the bed. After having to walk to door to get someone, and repeated requests, finally got someone to bring another bed ... two hours later!
Food is ok, better than many other hospitals.

While at the Memorial Emergency I was told that because I had not passed out or vomited I probably did not have subdural hematoma, a brain scan showed I certainly did had one, though it was mild. Since it had appeared before 4 days, it was considered an acute case but the neurosurgeon there told me I did not need an operation. They kept me for almost 3 days for observation and did some more tests. As I developed no symptoms and my condition improved, I was released but told to go for an appointment in about 2 weeks

It was the biggest in the area. It was the regional trauma center in the university hospital which was teachings, which ordinarily it would be something bad. I wonder what kind of doctors I would get when I walked in there. It was the main hospital. I had a lot of problems with the billing but they were trying to be better.

All of my appointments with Dr Ramage have gone well. I have never had to wait to be seen, and if I need to be squeezed in because of an emergency, every effort has been made to accommodate me. I find Dr. Ramage to be extremely professional and knowledgeble and thorough.

I have had about 10 ultrasounds with them now. Every one has been great. The ultrasound techs have been very friendly and sensitive to the high risk nature of my pregnancy. The doctors are very thorough and helpful. I'm not uncomfortable around any of them.

Overall am extremely pleased with staff (all levels) care and concern and with overall results of surgery. This was my 2nd admission and would not hesitate to recommend the staff, physicians, and care in general at Savannah Memorial.

I went to the Emergency Room at Memorial Hospital when I started getting sharp, burning pains on the left side of my chest. I feared the worst. When I got to the hospital (which happened to be the closest to my home), the staff handled my case very smoothly and competently. They immediately took my vitals and ran a gamut of tests to figure out what was wrong (EKG, x-rays, etc.). They eventually deduced that I had inflammation, and recommended bedrest for a couple days. Throughout my 4 hours at the hospital, I always felt that I was in very capable hands. The doctors and technicians were calm and definitely seemed in control (of course, they were used to seeing cases like mine--and much worse!--every single day). I commend the staff there and wouldn't hesitate to go back if needed.
