Description of Work: Checked my tv, found the problem and gave me several ways to fix my problem. He said that it would cost too much to completely repair my set and said that I would still have an old set. I decided to buy a new smart tv for very little more than the repair would have cost. There was a one day turn around from the time I dropped off the set to the time I heard from him. No charge!

Description of Work: No picture only sound on LG 42" LCD flat-screen tv....fixed it fast...good as new....!

Description of Work: I had an out-of-warranty Samsung Plasma TV that would not turn on one day, after a little research and knowing that I couldn't fix this myself, I entrusted Island TV for the job. I took it in and explained what happened and the clicking noise associated with the problem. You could tell that he had been in this business for some time as he knew exactly what I was referring and even called it by name which was found in my research on the issue. The problem was fixed within 2 days and was reasonable in price compared to others in the area. Only reason for the "B" rating is that he prefaced the repair with "I will call you with an estimate before repairs are made", in which he didn't.

 + -1 moreThe technician is knowledgeable, friendly and listens to you. He was able to assess the damage and draft a letter for my insurance company in the same visit, which was great because there is absolutely NO tv repair in Bluffton or Hilton Head, so the drive down to Savannah was about 40 miles. Great service!
Description of Work: Technician assessed damage to the HDMI inputs on the TV and drafted a letter to my insurance company ($60)
