In 2010 they hag to come out and fix leak. Now in 2016 more leaks appeared. Looked and found that the ridge vent was not installed to manufacture specs. End piece not used, so water has been going directly in our attic, but because it took mother nature 6 years from first leak (9 years from install) ... statue says we are out of luck getting it repaired. They used old rusted nails for the boots and skylight and no sealant on anything. Brian Horton says he has 5 year warranty and no concern even though it was his negligence. Also rafter was was not repaired properly ... board used was decking wood and it was not flush to support rafter. We have mold throughout attic on rafters. Ridge vent cuts are not vented and some are cut all the way into soffit area. 2 different style of ridge vents were used (why?). Used old vent boots instead of replacing (if needed) and reused old nails. I would stay away because his work in not honorable and very slow to respond even if it's not related to repair.

They said they could do it in two weeks and they would call me. I said that would be fine. I never heard from them again. If they did not want to do the work they should have just said so; I would have been fine with that.

John and his crew did an amazing and very professional job! The removal of a popcorn ceiling was the most costly and time-consuming of the chores. They were careful to protect the rest of the house and furniture from the dust caused by the ceiling remodel. John runs a very professional business and though he was more costly than our other estimates, we wanted the job done correctly and do not regret our choice. We would highly recommend him. We learned about him from one of the premier decorators on Tybee Island and were able to see the quality of his work prior to obtaining an estimate from him.

Perfect.  This is a father and son business.  Both came to my job site each day.  They made sure all the old roofing material was thrown away and all nails were picked up each day.  They repaired any bad spots and kept us posted on all problems.  It was a tough installation due to constant rain in our area.  They made sure my roof was covered at all times even during unexpected showers.  I have recommended them to all my friends.  I was so impressed.



Since the installation, we have had numerous heavy storms.  I feel so secure knowing that I have a new roof!

It was an excellent experience. They returned our call. They came when they said that they were going to come and they finished when they said that they were going to finish.

They gave me a bid and they took the work. They were really good. They were there before they said they'd actually be there. So they were ahead of time. They knocked out the project in a few days, sooner than they said. They knocked the roof out in less than two days. So I was definitely pleased. What makes them so good is their professionalism. They've been around for a long time. Everything was on point.

The German who was talking to me was very professional and followed up with me couple of times to make sure how they get the chance.

Overall, the job that they did was excellent. We were very pleased with the job. They did a good job on the roof but they haven’t finished yet; they have got to put some rain diverters on. We haven’t been able to get them back. They haven’t completed but other than that they did a good job. The quality of their work is good. The workers were courteous. They cleaned up after themselves very well. The price was reasonable. It was about what the insurance suggested it should be. They haven’t quite finished the job yet but with the amount of work that they have done till now, we would use them again in the future if necessary.

We contracted Horton’s Roofing to add seamless gutters to our new home.  Horton roofing sub contracted the job to De`Ja`Vue Landscaping. The sub contractor didn't seem versed on how to go about the job, came ill equipt to do the job. After the installation, I called them back to inspect errors made.  There were leak in the system, the gutters were not seamless, gaps in the gitter attachment to the facia boards and a poor application of a down spout system.  Mr. Horton,s proposal read: 6 inch seamless gutters where needed, down spouts included.  After a heated discussion with the sub contractor, they returned, did the repairs, ( I hope we will see when it rains) and charged my wife an additional 45 dollars above the contracted fee  of $1275.00 for materials which they took with them when the first installation job was completed. The K -gutter piece they added for the down spout correction was short and did not extend beyond the facia board as it should, but my wife, who is unaware of what a proper installation should be, approved it.  So I guess we are stuck with it.  The installation by De`Ja` Vue is poorly done.  We didn't get seamless gutters. They borrowed ladders and a drill from me to complete the first  gutter installationattempt and asked to us our ladder on the return repair visit. From my experience,  I feel the sub contractor lacked integrity.  I would not recommend Gutter installations by Horton Roofing and their sub contractor De`Ja` Vue.
