Very well. The installer (Wilson) was knowledgeable and professional. He worked quickly and efficiently. We were very satisfied with the results. Thomas, the owner, was prompt to give us an estimate and very attentive to seeing that the job was done to our satisfaction. Would definitely recommend!

Thomas was very responsive and followed up on the job even though it was an hour and 1/2 south of his business. I felt very comfortable with him and would refer him to anyone. They are professional and on top of things.

I paid the guys to do a job, I had to go back and clean the grout out, clean up a lot of the tiles to make them look a little cleaner. They left some grout on the corners of the tile; that was like an extra day after they've left for me to scrape it with a razor blade to be able to get the grout to look square so that you could actually see the square tile, the curved corner on the tile. Other than that they did a pretty good job. Not really, there was a border and the German guy, the owner he came in and he did it. The border is in the middle of it is a different tile, colorful tile to separate the room they were wavy everywhere. You can see it if you looked at it. It looked really good after I put the finishing touches to it.

They did a great job and we did not have to move any major furniture. They moved it all and worked around it. We were comfortable and could function well as a family with the work going on.

Very professional, explained everything that would be done and even detailed answers to questions that we asked. Not only the quaility of the job was great, but these guys come on time, worked hard the whole time with only taking a short lunch break, we couldn't believe how quickly they worked! I would recommend them to anyone! You can surely tell they really know what they are doing!

To start with, Thomas was the only person on Angie's list for my area that actually answered his phone. Thomas and his guys showed up every day they said the would, exactly on time or earlier. They worked 10-12 hours every day they came. They finished exactly when they said they would. He charged us much less than we thought he would, and the work is impeccable. You could tell how much attention to detail Thomas paid, and that also was evident in his workers. John, David, and Ricardo were polite, extremely hard working, and took care not to damage any furniture or walls. I would recommend Thomas Uhlig and his crew at German Masterworks without reservation.

They started out very responsive and I was pleased with their professionalism and then they fell off the planet. Install new flooring in my new home before I moved in. Has them hold off on installing the new stair cases untill after the movers came. Paid him for work done to date; was extremely fast wanting his money. I hadn't even had a chance to ck the work that was done but I fugured he was coming back to finish so I could address issued then. Tons of glue left on the flooring. Had no regard to placement of notted or damaged floor boards maybe in closets instead of in the middle of bedroom or living room florrs. Then when I called him to install the stairs more response at all. Made countless phone calls and emails and never heard back. Had to try to call in another company to give me an estimate and found out that I only had the stair nosing - there were no treads on site. Having extreme difficulty getting mulitple bids because no one wants to just install stairs apparently. I ordered what he told me to so I don't know if they told me the wrong amount or stole flooring because there was not 1 piece left over. Thoroughly dissatisifed with the vendor. noregard to placing. Have only been able to get one estimate so consequently my two staircases are no builders grade fiberboard because I removed the carpeting.

I selected the tile, grout and tile pattern. I was not given any guidance on the type of tile, grout or pattern. I selected the hardwood flooring at Lumber Liquidators who recommended German Masterworks. I picked up the tile from the tile store. The five tilers arrived on time, only the crew leader spoke English. The quality of the workmanship was disappointing. The grout lines are inconsistent and the tile is not level. The finish work on the hardwood flooring was of very poor quality. The shoe molding was attached to the floor with straight rather than mitered edges, the molding in front of the doors was attached with straight raw edges and not mitered to the existing door framing. I contacted the owner regarding the tile. He responded by saying that the tile store should have told me not to purchase a dark grout, that the tile I selected and the pattern I selected made inconsistent grout lines a result of the need to cut the tile. He used a dremel tool to miter the shoe molding and said that there was no way to tie the molding in front of the doors to the existing molding. All in all it felt like the team was in a rush to get done and there wasn't sufficient communication during the process. We gave him the opportunity to come back and fix the tile and the molding, he said it was to his standard.
Very disappointing

Thomas came out to do the measure and estimate and was very friendly and helpful. He didn't even charge me on this day, as he was supposed to.
When installation time came he and his crew arrived early and finished the beautiful work half a day early. When they finished on day 1 Thomas called me to tell me to come lock up (I had left them there to work) but I actually passed them leaving on my way there and they had locked the door themselves. I was a kinda bummed I drove out there for nothing. When they finished the next and final day I got the same phone call so I made no rush to get out there... only to find an hour and a half later that they had all been waiting there for me to do final walkthrough. This wasn't so much an injustice to me as it was to his crew, so I felt bad for them. I was also a little disappointed that the workers left a couple of empty drinks in the house and little bits of fried chicken on my front stoop.
One extra nice thing, though, was that they caulked around my crappy old sliding glass doors when bad weather was threatening the laminate. I really appreciated that.
Overall my floors look fabulous.

EDIT: While cleaning up after they left I discovered that they broke one of my floor fans and didn't have the the decency to tell me about it. Pretty p***** about that.

I sent emails to 5 contractors that I got from Angie's List. German Mastercrafts was the only one who responded and we met at our home to survey the job. We picked out our flooring and then finalized the pricing. They were here on time everyday and stayed until the scope of work for that day was finished. In the destruct phase, there were some sections that were very difficult to removed the old glue and flooring but they stayed with it and had an exceptionally clean base to begin laying the new bamboo. All work was completed in 5 days and some work days they were here for 10 hours or more. It was a very large job and they completed it in great time.

Thomas scheduled to come out at 8:30 on Thursday. He said it would take a day and a half. They were on time and completed the project in the time he said. Thomas is very customer oriented. It was nice to work with someone who cares about the customers satisfaction with the install.

It went very well. They worked hard, paid attention to detail, were friendly, communicated with us well. They didn't mess around. They do quality work.
