Five Star Painting did a fantastic job painting our office. We are a Pediatric Office and they accommodated our office by doing the work at night and on the weekends. I highly recommend them for your painting needs!

The actual workers who completed the project were great. The painting job was exceptional but they were a subcontractor. The Five Star representative delayed scheduling after we accepted the bid; did not stay on the job to supervise and lost our check we gave him upon completion of the job. I had to go to the bank and put a stop payment on the first check and give him a replacement check.

The one thing you don't want to deal with when dealing with any company doing work in your home for an extended period of time is poor communication. Good communication is the key to a smooth, worry free project. Especially for the customer. I find many companies lacking in this area and five star painting is not different. Although I have dealt with companies that were a lot worse. Ron was the person that I dealt with from the start. He visited my home and gave me a quote on painting the interior of my entire house as well as installing some wainscoting. He was very professional, courteous, and personable. Five star painting was one company out of several that I was considering and I chose them. The work that these guys did in my home was phenomenal! I watched Miguel and his crew as they did their jobs and they were meticulous in everything that they did. They were also professional and very polite. Although the job took longer than anticipated, my fiancée and I couldn't be more happy with the result. Everything came out wonderful and anything that needed to be attended to, Miguel and his crew were right there to take care of it. Miguel and his crew were always on time and worked diligently every day. I would not hesitate to use this company again, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that I know. In fact I plan on using them for other projects in the future. If I had to rate this company just based on the quality of their work and the value of their work, it would definitely be a five star rating. However, due to the poor communication from Ron, I had to rate them 4 stars. If there were an option for four and a half stars, that's what I would have rated them. There were several times when I had to reach out to him when he should've been reaching out to me. I spoke to him regarding my complaint in that area and he was very receptive and continued to be courteous and professional.

Very nice people, but they did NOT fix walk through discovered problems, did NOT clean up after themselves, and ultimately left ceiling and wall places where more painting is still needed.

We hired ProTect to paint our condominium exterior in 2013. We paid them over $5,000 for a second coat on our railings and doors, even though we were told by them that one coat would last 3-5 years before signs of failure, and 2 coats would give us 6-10 years. It's now barely 2 and the paint is peeling off our railings. They came and looked at it and even brought the Sherwin Williams rep with them and told us it was "wear and tear." and refused to touch up their work. The clean-up on their job was sloppy and we had to haul away debris when they were finished. Although Dan is a nice guy, we feel they did not stand behind what they said their job would cover.

They were extremely professional and did an excellent and job. They were neat and did the job quickly. I was very pleased with the work and plan to use them for future jobs.

On time and did what was promised. Careful with paint to protect surfaces. Cleaned up when done.
