DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB, BUT THE QUARTER ROUND THAT WAS PIECED IN TIGHT PLACES IS COMING LOOSE OR OFF AND A FEW PLACES WERE NOT DONE AT ALL. I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED REALLY CLOSELY BEFORE PAYING HIM. NOW HE WILL NOT RESPOND. I OFFERED HIM A CHANCE TO FIX IT BEFORE I SUBMITTED THIS REVIEW. NOTHING! HE HAD SOME INEXPERIENCED HELP DOING THE QUARTER ROUND AND THEY DID A VERY POOR JOB. I AM A WIDOW AND HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME.

They came and priced out everything and told us they'd have us a quote in about two days and never called. Since then, I ended up calling them back and they told me they would have me a quote that night and I didn't hear back from them. That was over two weeks ago. They came out and they were super great. I was really looking forward to working with them. They just never called me back. They weren't very responsive at all. They kept telling us they'd contact us and they never did. They never called me back or actually gave me a quote.

The construction by Expert Contracting, Inc., was a pleasant experience from start to finish. I have absolutely no knowledge about construction. ECI took great steps to insure that all applicable building permits were obtained and that building codes were followed. The plans submitted to the City of Savannah were drawn by an engineer selected by ECI. City of Savannah building inspectors were contacted to approve each phase of construction. The construction of my carport with adjoining utility room was no easy project. My backyard had a multitude of tree roots. Before the foundation could be poured, these roots had to be removed. ECI removed the roots manually and by utilizing a small backhoe to be certain that roots did not interfere with the foundation. As I stated earlier, I do not possess any knowledge of construction. I wish that I could provide technical information about the building of the two structures. I can say, however, that ECI's expertise is reflected in this construction. ECI patiently explained every phase of construction and why certain types of materials were used rather than other types. ECI made other suggestions that were well appreciated. Just three examples are two ceiling fans with lights on the ceiling of the carport , sensor lights put on the side of the carport facing the lane and siding put on the exterior of the utility room. There are other suggestions made by ECI that my wife and I are pleased with. Neighbors and family have given me compliments. I have informed them that ECI must take all the credit for the work; both for the construction and the valuable suggestions such as those stated earlier in this paragraph. Oh, I am not related to any of the ECI staff either by blood or marriage. I also do not have any business interest in ECI.

Chris Powers was on time, did excellent work re-building the back deck and putting in a new table for sitting on the deck. He was prompt, courteous and the job was professionally done. I would recommend him to anyone. He cannot do plumbing or electrical but is able to all else. It was a pleasure to have him on the job.

An excellent experience with Chris Powers, the contractor. He was prompt, courteous, cleaned up all of the old decking and removed it. Would recommend him highly for any re-modling jobs.Crossov
