It went poorly.  I was qouted one price, only for the company to provide a markedly higher one than initially advertised.  Their customer service is paralyzed and unable to help you due to higher ranking individuals or the system itself going behind them and undoing any changes they make.
Once upon a time, Comcast was a good business, but like many companies out there who forget that the bottom line involves customer satisfaction choose to cheapen their product by hamstringing their staff.  It all started because I attempted to make changes to my service that would be more beneficial as far as price went.  In response, I was given crippled service that barely functioned and a ton of hidden fees and charges.  Bare in mind that I asked each time if such charges would be incurred and I was told by their staff that I would not be charged for more than just the service itself.  I understand how prorates work and I also understand that my first bill would be slightly different than the other bills following but the price I was quoted for the service was not the price that was posted on the bill.
In the end, I wound up paying an extortionist fee just to be able to move on with my life and maintain what good credit I do have.  After the service had been cut, the equipment turned in, a $19 disconnect fee paid out, and a $40 missing cable box fee, I wound up being charged an additional $66 dollars by the company well after the fact.
Comcast is a crooked, corrupt, and inept company and I hope others read this and avoid doing business with them.  They will sweet talk you with a silver tongue and take you for everything your worth like a proper con man.  Unless you pay them exorbitant amounts of money, you will never see a fair value for your service.  Do not fall for their buy line.  Listen to the Direct TV commercials that say "Comcast - Why would you want to?"  Why would you want to indeed!

Bill keeps getting higher without reason.I've been with Comcast over 5yrs.customer service is terrible.if they have to come out to your house its only Mon thru Fri as if college football isn't on on Saturdays.also it takes a few days to come to your residence to fix any issue

The internet is really fast. I have never had to call customer service. They were late a couple of times. We have remained with this company due to horror stories from other people.

I have been with Comcast for three years and in that time my bill has more than double with no explanation other that "there has been a rate increase". When I signed up in 2009, I specifically asked NOT to be put on a special because I have had experience with how the price of service skyrockets when the special ends. In 2009 my bill was $69.99 for basic cable and Internet. Now, it is $79.99 for just the Internet service. Every time I call, they just read from a script and managers don't exist or read from another script. Bottom line...no help at all. I am ACTIVELY seeking another Internet service provider. This is ridiculous.

We haven't had to call anyone since it was installed a year ago.  Everything has been fine.  We had satellite and Comcast was better priced.  It seems fine; everything works so far.

I kind of get a run around when I call them on the telephone.  They switch me and it could be a minute or it could be 5 minutes.

I’m happy with them.  Most of the time we don’t have problems but sometimes the internet drops.  It might be where I am or it might just be one of those quirky things.  You can make appointments with them but you can't get anyone in an emergency.

The workers came really late one time. They came on a day that was raining and walked in and out of the house with dirty feet. They also really didn't even fix the problem because every time I pressed the On-Demand button, the TV would shut down. I had talked to a relative and he had told me to unplug the VCR to be able to have the TV work. The supervisor that came over was not a friendly person. When I told him what my relative said, he told me the trick was not going to work. However, once he unplugged the VCR the TV worked fine. That was after 16 days of work. That is the last time I used that contracter.
