Catnip n Biscuits is an upscale pet boarding facility, conveniently located within the city limits of Savannah. We provide doggie day care for people who work long hours and don't want to leave their pets home with nothing to do. We have luxury boarding suites that are equipped with Kuranda beds with theme bedding, TV's, webcams, & DVD's. All suites include day care. We have full service grooming, training classes, go home baths, nail clipping and more! No aggressive dogs.

Animal Boarding Kennels
I chose this facility to board my dog based on its reviews. I have used daycares and boarding facilities throughout Augusta and Atlanta and have had wonderful experiences. It has always been my practice to check on my pet throughout his stay and was never informed that there would be no means of communication with the facility throughout the weekend. The office phone is only accessible Monday through Friday. I scheduled my dog’s boarding appointment 2 weeks in advance. I completed the paperwork online and scheduled the weekend boarding dates. I called the day I was to board my pet and was told they did not have the reservation. I paid $30 for a temperament test, so he could be in daycare Saturday. I was never contacted to let me know if he passed his test. Saturday I tried to view the webcam to check on my dog. The cameras were not working. I called to check on him and that’s when I realized there was no phone service available on the weekends. I then sent an email to please call me. I received a call 3-4 hours later and was told my dog passed his test and he was in daycare. They said he was not playing with any other dogs and sitting alone. This did not make me feel at ease. I asked about the cameras and the employee told me they were broken. I was not aware that they provided very limited access for checking on your pet’s welfare. The weekend stay for $170 provided such poor quality service. This experience resulted in a very stressful weekend and I was constantly worrying about my dog. I urge other dog lovers to do their research before making a boarding choice. Before I posted this review I contacted the owner to express my concerns, but her attitude did not clarify any questions or reduce any concerns I had as a result of this experience.

"There is so much wrong information in this review. Our facility is staffed every day. Our office is closed during the day on the weekends. We have voicemail and calls are returned during our open times which are 6:00 am to 8:00 am and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This information is on all the paperwork that is signed, on our website in multiple places, on the return email that are sent when any application is sent, or a reservation is made. People sign each area of our paperwork so they are informed of our hours and when calls are returned. This person obviously does not read what she is signing or any emails that are replies to her requests. I received multiple emails from her starting at 7am the very next morning after she dropped her dog off to board, on a Saturday. She was frantic and so I replied. She was again told in the email about our hours and if anything was wrong we would have let her know. Our webcams were not broken, we were having our yards upgraded and were using yards that did not have cameras. Our cameras are a free service and we make no promises that they will work or that your dog will always be seen on the camera. In any event her dog was happy and having a great time in day care. My employee never told her he was sitting alone. He said he had played and was taking breaks on his own when needed. As for not having a reservation when she called. She is correct. She failed to insure her dogs vaccination records reached us and we don't allow any dog in our facility without proof of vaccines. We do not make any reservations without paperwork. It's not safe for the other dogs in our care. We are not able to call anyone's vet to get the records due to HIPPA laws so it's the owners responsibility to insure we have the proper paperwork. This is also clearly stated in many places on our website and in any communications with pet owners. This review is completely inaccurate and written from a place of emotion instead of looking at where she went wrong when reserving her pets stay. If anyone deserves an F it's the owner for not paying attention to all the information we made available to her. I cannot force people to read the paperwork but I can respond with the truth about what happened. As for contacting me to get a response or questions answered, I clearly asked her what the questions were and she did not have any clear questions. She had complaints but never asked a question. I listened to her for fifteen minutes and then asked what it was she wanted and she was not clear on anything. I did my best to no avail."

Great! Clean, well-groomed dogs who love to go to Savannah Grooming Room! I have brought my 3 shitzus puppies here once a month for the last 4 months. I am very pleased with her grooming skills and kindness.

I have used Catnip and Biscuits on 2 separate occasions and wasn't impressed on either occasion. I found the runs to be small for the price. On my initial visit I had to prepay, in cash or check only which is inconvenient, upon drop off. When I came to pick the dogs up I was informed that I over paid over $100.00. Three people attempted to determine why I was advised to pay so much and ultimately determined a mistake had been made and my account would be credited. I was frustrated that as there was a mistake made on the company's end and I couldn't get my money back but was not offered another option other than a store credit. I took my dogs back again for a one night stay due to having the store credit. When I picked them up they immediately urinated on the floor as if they hadn't been let outside in some time. The associate also advised me that they had eaten dinner that evening. The establishment requires you to bring food pre-portioned and I had only brought food for the one night they stayed. The associate was unable to explain where the second day of food came from, leaving me to assume that the feeding instructions had not been followed. Finally, I was advised that I had no credit on my account. I informed the associate of the overpay situation that had occurred the previous stay. She went back in my record and stated that there was nothing refuting the original amount I was required to pay on the initial stay and couldn't see a reason that my account would have needed to be credited. Unfortunately, due to mistakes made with the care of my pets and inaccuracies in billing, at my expense, I will not be returning.

Started our 11wk old puppy in a beginner puppy class where the instructor showed me how to train my Jack Russell puppy to sit down, walk on a leash, wait, and be examined. She also was able to socialize with various other dogs in a controlled environment.

Appreciated the familiarization appointment but the sitter showed up over an hour late. The sitter seemed experienced and left good notes but unfortunately also left the front door unlocked. For one appointment I had scheduled an 1100 visit. I was able to take a lunch break to visit Max and ended up getting home after 1230 expecting the sitter to have left already. Instead I got home, took the puppy out and met a complete stranger outside with the key to my house. I understand the same person may not come every time but I should at least be notified, it was unsettling. The last strike for me was when I booked my last appointment. I had to call several times to get ahold of my invoice, which the operator insisted she sent already. Later they admitted to problems with their mail server. They should have brought that up instead of insisting there was an issue on my end. I could also hear a rude voice in the background complaining about my calls. Very unprofessional.

My german Shepard Anara goes 2 days weekly for Doggie Day Care, occasional grooming and would use if needed for boarding. I am VERY impressed with the appearance and features of facility as well as the staffs knowledge and consideration for my dog. Would highly recommend this company for any pet needs. Also love the webcam that allows me to look in during the day on my girl.

Animal Grooming
Jenna does an AMAZING job grooming our maltese and we really lucked out in finding her. I've owned a maltese all my life so I am very particular about how they are groomed because its difficult to find a good groomer for their hair that is precise and smooth. I've seen other dogs she has groomed and she adjust the cut to fit your dog so your pup comes out looking good and she always gets the length just perfect. even better if that our dog is almost sad to leave Catnip n Biscuits because she gets so much love there! I could go on and on about how great this place is, but just try for yourself I guaruntee your pet will look great!
