When the ceilings in my home began to show damage due to the roof leaking, I immediately called my insurance company. A claim adjuster was sent to inspect my house and assess the damage. The adjuster said the roof had extensive wind damage and needed to be replaced. The ceilings required sheetrock repairs and painting in 4 rooms, also one of the rooms required the walls to be painted.
ALLSOUTH ROOFING was recommended by two friends at work that just had their roofs repaired by ALLSOUTH. I gave David Claxton and Rick Bell a call and they met me that day. After they inspected my roof we sat down to talk terms. They reviewed the insurance company estimate and agreed that the amount quoted was sufficient to cover the cost of all the repairs. They drew up a contract that afternoon, plus handled all the paperwork and other concerns required by my mortgage company.
The day we had set for the repairs to begin his crew (8 guys) was outside waiting for the sun to rise to begin work. By noon the old shingles and tar paper was removed and new tar paper installed, they were ready to install the new shingles. Work was completed by the end of the day and the roof looks great.
Part of the installation they had installed a rain diverter over the garage door, I asked Rick Bell if diverters could be installed over all the entrances and he agreed, there was no additional cost.
The interior work was completed in 3 days. You cannot tell where the repairs were made, the painters did an excellent job.
Working with ALLSOUTH ROOFING was a good experience and I recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.
