We've always found Bill, and now his son, to be professional, prompt, and fair in his pricing. The equipment has always run properly, and Bill has always been responsive to time critical situations - we did have a leak caused by a buildup of gunk in one of the tubes of a reverse osmosis system we had under the sink. He came right out. Our experience with Pure Health Concepts has always been very positive.
"Yes, I did come do an IAQ(indoor air quality) inspection on Member's house. She complained about an odor. I was referred to her by a company that did do a great job Encapsulating her Crawlspace. The issue was not the encapsulation, that took care of the moisture coming from the crawlspace floor(dirt). While doing my inspection I observed how she had her Air conditioning running, which she had her HVAC Fan set on "ON"24/7 instead of on AUTO. She did no like hearing that it was possible that she was making the issue worse! (Anytime you run your HVAC fan on "ON" it never turns off.. the problem is that the AC isn't on to Condition the air that flowing through the vents. What was happening is that she was creating a self inflicted smell caused from the fan pulling air out from the crawlspace (unconditioned=humid) on top of that she had Rat/Mice dropping everywhere in the crawlspace and an active sewer pipe leak as well as visible mold on the rafters. With all that said Her air quality was less than Par and by her actions(having the HVAC fan on "ON" she was bringing the smells/humidity up out of the crawlspace and into her living area. (40% of the air you breathe comes from the crawlspace) Being that her issues were related to the HVAC I recommended a competent company to come in at no charge and inspect her HVAC unit which was in the crawlspace. I recommended that she get the mold taken care of since that alone was potential cause of smell alone and to get the active leaking sewer fixed. If someone does not return my phone calls is not my fault. Sorry!"
"If I had known this was on here I would have responded to this unbelievable report a lot sooner than 6 years later. First of all I am no plumber. I install/service RO systems and Whole house water Filtration systems. As far as being involved in the aspects of your home, I treat everyone's home that I inspect as though it were my own and care about my clients and their health. As for Member goes, she didn't want to believe the findings that I had found about the poor health of her home. If you don't want to know the TRUTH about your home.. DON'T ASK..
