Experimac Sandy Springs

I went to the Apple Store Genius Bar to replace my dead hard drive only to learn that my 5 year old MacBook Pro was considered 'vintage' and they would no longer work on it.  They sent me to two different places. One of those places was closed on the weekends--quite the wasted trip.  The other didn't work on 'vintage' Mac's either but they were kind enough to send me to Experimac in Sandy Springs.  What a lucky break.  I could not have been happier with the service I received from the moment I walked through the door until I walked out a few hours later with my newly updated/upgraded hard drive.  The atmosphere was friendly and supportive from the start.  Although I didn't get her name, my first contact was warm and friendly.  But even more importantly, Neil Kent, the owner, came over to introduce himself and to get an understanding of how I used my computer. He made sure that I got the right hard drive for my needs based on how I currently use my computer.  Think about it...How often do you run into a business owner who actually helps you save money?   In addition to installing the hard drive, Experimac also upgraded my system and moved my data free of charge.   What started out as a very depressing/frustrating day ended on more than a positive note.  I would recommend these guys to anyone and have already to members of my own family and my network of friends.  They really are as good as it gets!Share review Edit review Delete review
