I have used Chip and his guys three times now, since buying my home in 2021. The previous owner was a DIY guy and though had good intentions, was not knowledgeable enough to replace and wire outlets and ceiling fans. Each time the guys came out, they were thorough. They checked the wiring on each outlet of the affected circuit, to make sure the connections were strong and not faulty. They also just installed a ceiling fan for me, replacing the previously installed one. I overheard them, as they were trying to correct the previous problem wiring, saying that they needed to “make this right” for me. I truly appreciate their work ethic and drive to leave the situation completely resolved with a solution that worked for all involved. They were conscientious, polite and respectful. As a homeowner, it’s great to have a dependable electrician in my contacts list, whom I know will confidently fix the issues I may need them for, with honesty and integrity.

I am so glad that I chose this company to do my electrical work. I had work done that required permits and inspections, not to mention having Amicalola disconnect the power to my house and then reconnect it once the work was completed and inspected. E.F. Thomas & Sons took care of everything and called me to advise where we were in the coordination and permitting process and let me know the next steps. Dwayne was on time, came prepared with all the fixtures, very professional, performed excellent work and very friendly. He installed 4 recessed LED 6 inch can lights on a sloped ceiling with no real access plus a dimmer switch. I was expecting to have to do quite a bit of sheet rock repair but Dwayne was able to fish the wiring with only 1 small cut. Excellent job and will call them back in the future.
