Excellent service, the Home Inspector Colin Chandler was at the property on time and began his work immediately. As soon as I arrived he greeted me and my wife and explain the whole process. He invited me to come along for the inspection and explain everything related to his observations including the actual description of what was observed, condition, repairs needed and maintenance recommendations.

The entire team did an outstanding job supporting our needs. We were having a potential home purchase inspected and the team was extremely supportive in helping to perform a detailed home inspection, inclusive of Radon testing and termite tests. Bruce was our lead inspector and he was awesome to work with. I feel bad for him, because my entire family (wife, dad, mom, and 2 year old!) all showed up for the inspection! Bruce walked me through the process, then when my dad showed up he walked him through it, then when my wife showed up, walked her through it again! He never implied being rushed, he gave us all the time we needed. Customer service was A+. As we walked around the house, Bruce was very descriptive in what he was looking at and encouraged us to ask questions. Bruce got our report to us the following evening, which is extremely fast in this industry. I highly recommend Bruce for your inspection needs. The office support team at US Inspect was also great! We needed a quick turnaround time on getting the inspection reports, and with just the termite report outstanding, all three people in the office jumped on it to ensure we could get the results needed prior to closing time. They came through quickly and with spectacular customer service skills.

I first did a home inspection with another company. They did a good job, and I was happy with them. They discovered mold during their inspection.
I then contacted HomeSafe to do a mold inspection as the first company did not do them. Their certified mold inspector (Dallas) came out and did a (what seemed to me) thorough inspection for mold and water and moisture issues in the house. They did
a full infrared scan as well which if not necessarily the most useful tool was at least comforting.
We needed the inspection quickly during due diligence, and Dallas and HomeSafe were very accommodating in getting us information quickly. I decided that if we did not get the house we were looking at, then I would use HomeSafe for my next home inspection.

It could not have been better!! Bruce was fantastic and very patient explaining every single detail to me. I'm a first time buyer, so do not (or at least did not!) know most of the stuff, so he pointed out and explained every little thing. The final report was 38 pages long and included tons of images. I'd very highly recommend him to friends and family!!

Al Carli was the inspector. He was informative, efficient, careful and early for appointment. We found the infrared camera helpful. Price was better than most. Great experience!

Al got there before I did - he had already gotten started with the inspection. He stopped what he was doing and reviewed his findings so far. Then I followed him around and asked questions. He was patient and kind in his responses, giving me advice on things I would need to do after buying the home to make it more energy efficient and prevent future problems. I got the report within 24 hours, it was thorough and well written.Al found a couple serious issues. His work was questioned by the seller. He remained professional and answered the inquiry promptly.Ultimately I withdrew the contract and did not purchase that particular home; I truly feel it was the best $350 I ever spent. When I found another house and my offer was accepted, I immediately called Homesafe for another inspection.

We wish we had hired Home Safe before we purchased our home. We now know that air quality is of upmost importance to our wellbeing and health. The cost of a mold inspection is well worth it when compared with the cost of fixing a mold problem. It is true, we did not have and evident water problem in our house, but we had a long term humidity problem which made our mold problem, perhaps even more problematic as we had to take comprehensive steps to clean the mold, get a new HVAC system/ductwork, and re-insulate our home. Dallas provided us with recommendations and guidance along the way. These consultation services (above and beyond our mold inspection), helped us to make sure we truly could correct this serious problem. We always felt that Dallas cared for our wellbeing above all else and offered his honest opinion about the appropriate steps to take to fix our house. Many of the mold remediation companies we interviewed were unsure of whether our problem could be fixed. With Dallas’s help, we did not through good money after bad. We are now living in our home and no longer have to content with mold. We are grateful for the services that Dallas and Home Safe provided, and we have recommended them to everyone we know who is considering purchasing a house. Dallas is well educated and uses science. His comprehensive report provided us with valuable documentation and provided guidance to the mold remediation companies we interviewed.

When looking for a professional in the mold inspection business, there is a lot of variability. Keep this in mind! Many people have “experience” but do not have credentials or training to provide proper inspection services. They do not use scientific testing to validate their results. Often, the same people doing the inspections are trying to sell you mold remediation services for many thousands of dollars or they are providing an ad on service for a home inspection. This is not the case with Home Safe. Dallas Gamble is a certified mold inspector with the American Council of Accredited Certification (Counsel-Certified Residential Mold Inspector) with very good scientific equipment. He is specialized in inspecting mold and can provide you with good recommendations for remediation since he has no vested interest in obtaining your remediation job. This saves you money and gets you a better end result. Having an independent mold inspection is always a good idea. We will definitely use Home Safe prior to purchasing or moving into any other property. If you think you might have a mold or water problem (or even if you don’t think you do-we didn’t), this is the company to call!ost o

They were fabulous. They were great. They were very thorough. They had the infrared camera which showed if there were leaks or anything like that. We are in the industry and we think they are great.

I like that they have some equipment that not all inspectors have so they can detect moisture inside the wall. I have never had an inspectors do that before. I have had a problem with one system that they inspected. I didn’t get a notice from them that something was not quite right. I don’t know how much they should have inspected. I have had the house 6 months and have had problems with the heater. They inspected it during the summer and I don’t know how that might have played into that. They were very professional. They had a good report. They were very responsive. They are easy to schedule.
