This is one of the best companies I have dealt with across the board. They are knowledgeable and very helpful. I had them come out several years ago to help get rid of squirrels in my attic and they were very thorough. They have come back several times since for other issues and their service is top notch. They are now adding insulation to my attic and have hired them for their pest control services. I have peace of mind not only knowing that my home is pest free but I know who to call if another problem shows up! Highly recommend!!

Terrible they were never able to remove squirrels and stole my money. Called office to resolve and they have nothing but excuses. Stay away from this company they will rip you off.

It was not inexpensive. I think it was around $1300. They did a good job. I'd call them again.

Richard Jrs evaluation was extremely thorough, on the roof, in the crawl space, and all thru the attic. My hundred year old house needed all the recommendations, and the price was fair for the extensive work that was done. The Crew of Brian, Wilson and Domingo were very professional, thorough, and courteous. The Owner, Richard Sr. was very responsive to any questions I had. As a wary senior citizen, the trust factor is very important. The experience was very favorable and I feel a rating of excellent  has been earned.

Brian removed a large hornet nest from our house that was rapidly expanding outside our bedroom window. He said they were bald faced hornets and explained how he managed to destroy the nest without getting stung. He worked from the ground using a long pole with a brush to remove the nest while the hornets were buzzing around it. He explained that by first spraying and killing the "sentry" hornets and then not running away or acting afraid, they ignored him. No one got stung!

We had a discussion about removing bats. I was pleased to learn that they do not kill bats but install a sort of one-way gate over the opening so the bats can leave but not return. Since bats are very useful creatures and eat tons of mosquitos and other pesky insects, I was very much in agreement with this approach.

They also avoid killing other animals the get into houses like raccoons.

We found some droppings in the attic. Richard, the guy who came out, went into the attic and found that we had squirrels. He gave us strong instructions on how to cut back the trees to prevent the squirrels from coming back in. We didn't spend a lot. I think we called him in a couple of years because we thought something else was going on. He came out, looked around, and didn't even charge us for that call. He told us everything was fine. I don't remember any problems with his punctuality. I would use him if I was still living in Atlanta. I live in North Carolina now. If he was here or if he had a subsidiary or a partner here I definitely would use him.

Initially told by phone that raccoon had been trapped and removed. Called and e-mailed company to tell them animal was still in chimney. Company did not respond. My physical inspection revealed that entry point had not been sealed as stated in contract. Had to hire another company to complete job.
Response from URBAN WILDLIFE CONTROL
"We came to your house 5/10/2007 and gave you an estimate for removal. You never hired us to do any work. The removal fee was $279 and did not include repairs. We believe you have us confused with whomever you hired."

This is the second time I have used this company. They were good at trapping and removing the animals. Over a four week period they trapped and removed 4 squirrels. I felt that their quote for sealing my home was over-priced (over $1,900). Their owner (I believe) Richard is very friendly and professional and so is their customer service/office manager Kristin. Bottom-line they performed the service at the quoted rate.

I was very happy with them because they managed to take the squirrel out for me. After they did the closing off on the other areas I haven't had any problems. They were very prompt in showing up and also did a checkup on the traps afterwords. I thought they were a little expensive but I guess they charged me more because of the spaces they closed off for me.

They are very knowledgeable and up to date. When I called them and told them I was having problems with squirrels in my attic and they were coming in thorough the fans, they suggested the covers. The company I originally hired had never heard of them before. I bought them and someone else put them on for me, and they have done exactly what I needed them to do. I am pleased that they were able to help me solve the problem that I was having. They listened to what I was saying and gave me a solution.

I rate the company excellent overall. When I made the service call the customer service representative, Kristen, was very kind. Our technician, Keith, took the time to explain the procedures and answered all my questions. The construction crew was prompt and efficient.

Keith was on-time and came out immediately when we informed him the traps had been activated. The several weeks of trapping was extremely reasonable. Also, the follow-up repairs to prevent re-entry to our basement and attic were according to his estimate and performed properly. It has been several weeks and we have had no return animals. I wish we had called them earlier as I could have avoided a ''close encounter'' with a squirrel that had chewed its way into my wife's closet!!

My first phone call was returned promptly with pricing info on the services I needed. $200 to remove a dead animal is a bit much in my opinion. I was told the field tech would contact me directly that evening to set a specific time, and no one called. I then called the office a second time the following morning to which an appointment was set up at an inconvenient time for me. The field tech was nice and knowledgeable. The dead animal was tough to find. After pulling up several floor boards in the attic he found and disposed of the animal. What he did not do was replace any of the floor boards he pulled up. He also extricated a hornet nest from my house for an unreasonable price of $75. All-in-all the service was performed, but I think the cost is overpriced. The quote to 'squirrel proof' my house was over $2000, another very high cost for such a job.
Response from URBAN WILDLIFE CONTROL
"IT COST MONEY TO RUN A PRODUCTIVE PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT YOU FEEL OUR PRICE WAS HIGH, WE MAKE NO APOLOGIES FOR THE FEE CHARGED. ALL CUSTOMERS ARE GIVEN THE SAME PRICE OVER THE PHONE BEFORE WE SEND A TECH TO THE HOME."

They did an excellent job. They were prompt. They caught the rats and found out how they were getting in. They then sealed the entry way all in the initial cost.
