I had 5 doors with deadbolt and knob key locks each. They charged a flat fee per door when some locksmiths charged by the lock. I also got 4 keys. I did use an Angie's List coupon which took 5% off as well. Super responsive person who took my call and scheduled the work for the same day. They also called back closer to the time the technician was going to get here to make sure it was still a good time. Manny came to do the work and he was really quick and professional.

I purchased a lock June 2016 for the front door of my new house, (happy time). I paid 250.00 for a digital code lock and after about 6 months the lock stopped turning to open after I put in the code, it took my a while to contact the company because I'm a crazy busy person but I recently contacted them to have another lock reinstalled because the old one was defective and still under warranty. A lady called back me tell me that I would have to be charged $84.50 for a reinstall fee and I advised her that I was not happy having to pay the $84.50 for a lock that was supposed to work properly. She advised me that the company was not making money off my replacement and I wasn't happy with that because you shouldn't have to make money off of a previous purchase that I already paid over $250.00 (which included an installation fee that was already previously charged for a lock that never worked correctly in the 1st place). Furthermore the fact that you stated that you're not making money is not true because you're charging me another $84.50 that's money that you are making off of a previous product that should have worked properly. If you sell a defective product to a customer, simply replacing it and reinstalling without charging is called good customer service. That is not what I was provided with in this case. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because you should not treat your customers this way. I requested to speak with upper management or the owner of the company in regards to my situation because this doesn't seem fair at all altogether I'm spending over $300 for a lock that should work properly in the first place. (Very unhappy customer!)

Our philosophy is to treat our customers like family. In your situation you did not reach out to us about your lock issues until over a year and a half after the installation occurred. We encourage our customers to notify us immediately if they are having any issues with their hardware. We wish that in the future you will notify us sooner in order for us to quickly resolve the issues. Once we are aware of issues we address them with the manufacturer right away. While we do replace defective hardware free of charge we are not compensated by the manufacturer for our time and labor to complete this work. After this review we returned to replace your defective lock completely free of charge. We truly care about you being completely satisfied with the new lock. Outstanding Service! After receiving what was a scammer/rip off quote ($950) from another company that came to my house and walked thru - you have no idea the huge relief that came over me today when Manny showed up form Unlock It and quoted $190 to rekey 11 locks (includes 5% return cust discount). Manny was polite, professional, fast, knowledgeable and NOT a rip off! He walked through to assess all the locks & took time to tighten a loose main door handle (disassembled & reassembled to locate the internal screws) that was loose. Manny also shimmied up the basement door that was hard to shut. After going through a lot these past few days after a bad car accident couple days ago there’s no way have a huge amount to spend on this- So Manny was a heaven sent ‘angel’ in the middle of the storm. Unlockit gets added to our personal trusted provider directory. Thank You Manny!

No wonder this company has an A rating with over 800 reviews. Bought a coupon in the morning, called to schedule, then had the service completed all before noon. Great communication with the office, and the tech was personable, professional, and worked very quick.

We're thrilled with Unlock-it's customer care both over the phone and in-person. Manny Came out to do the installation this morning. He couldn't have been more helpful, taking time to walk the entire home and look at all the doors. He had several additional suggestions, but never pushed any option.
