David showed up on time with an assistant. After the disposal was removed, David left the assistant to install the new faucet. The assistant indicated that he was having trouble getting the old faucet off. David eventually came back. After over two hours of trying to get the old faucet off, they sawed off the bolts in seconds. I was confused why that was not done ten minutes after the problem arose with the bolts.
I was charged $300 to install the new faucet, which I was told was the standard price. That seemed high, but it was on me for not confirming the price beforehand. In any event. they finally left, after taking up the better part of my afternoon.
On my way out the door that night, I started the dishwasher. As I left the house, I had a gut feeling that I should put a bucket under the sink in case there was a problem. I went back in and put a bucket under the pipes where the dishwasher drained, as the pipes had tied in to the old disposal. When I returned home, the bucket was one-third filled with water. Thank goodness for that gut feeling, or I would have come home to some mess.
I called the next day, and David or the assistant (I cannot remember which,) came out that day or the next. I was assured the problem was fixed and paid the bill. I ran the dishwasher half empty a few days later, again with the bucket under the sink to play it safe. This time I stayed home and video-taped as the water flowed into the bucket in the dishwasher's drain cycle. David came out a few days later. He stated that he took time out from a bigger job far away from my house to come fix the problem once and for all. He was very apologetic. No problems after the third visit.
