Brian was slow to respond and was not able to start work when we wanted. Once work was started he started the work and installing sod. He brought in trucks of dirt but a lot of the dirt had rocks in it which destroyed our front yard and the grass has not really grown back yet. Brian has stopped contacting us after he did not complete the job. We notified him of many issues and he said he would come back and then he never came back. We were really disappointed with his un-professionalism and his non caring for how we were not satisfied. Brian even told us that people in the past had complained that it took him a long time to come back out and roll the sod and to not worry about it. Well he never came back to roll the sod and did not complete the job with fixing patches in the yard that died and killed most of the grass in the front yard. We heard complaints from other people but because he was cheaper than a lot of quotes we went with him. In hind sight, we would not use him again and warn others that he promises a lot but once you give him the check for most of the amount you will not see him again!!

They were on time to get something to do. It was a reasonable price. I would give them A down the line.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Brian Hitchuk or his company,
Core Scapes, LLC.  Brian & his crew
came in June and did a nice job of re-landscaping my front yard. I was
disappointed at the size of plants Brian planted, however. Immediately, after
landscaping my yard, one of the bushes died. When I dug it up, I discovered
that the laurel had been replanted with absolutely no root system what-so-ever ?
they had simply stuck it in the ground knowing it would die. Although we had
record rain over the summer, I faithfully watered the front yard twice week if
necessary. Then, over the course of the summer, another transplanted azalea
died. I contacted Brian in September & told him of the two dead plants and
that the five loropetulums were looking very sad.  Brian agreed to come on Friday, September 20,
2013 at 10AM to look at my yard & determine what to replace, etc. He never
came nor did he let me know he was not coming. When I contacted him, he said he
had a very busy morning & he would come the following Monday, September 23rd,
and replace the two dead bushes & fertilize the ones that needed it.  Brian again, never came, never replaced anything and now, will not
take my calls. This made twice that Brian no-showed with
no-call.
Do not count on Brian Hitchuk to follow through with his guarantee ?
once he takes your money, you will not see him again.

Horrible! Their work didn't fix anything. He doesn't stand behind his work.
Response from Core Scapes, LLC.
"In response to this negative review, the facts of the project have not been presented accurately. The drainage issue is a direct result of the lack of attention paid by the pool company who installed a pool and concrete pool deck in the center of the yard with no pipe or sleeve beneath to allow water to naturally flow down hill. This essentially caused a dam. We were not the initial company to install a drain system. The initial company installed box drains which collected water and debris, directing water to a container with a small sump pump which pumped the water approximately 8' rise to the back of the yard beyond the rear fence. Problem then was debris from box drains clogging pump. We have made several attempts to work around the issue, letting the client know on several occasions that a pipe below the pool deck following the natural grade of land would have been the easiest answer which would have worked the absolute best. Our answers were to remove box drains and install several French Drains to eliminate the debris from flowing into the tank, replacing the tank to slightly larger capacity, installing a new larger pump to remove water faster, installing an additional drain higher on the slope that wraps around the pool area. All our work is warranted, except against acts of God i.e.. Tornados, hurricanes, monsoon rains."
