Champions Painting

Francisco and his crew are very neat and courteous painters. However, they made one BIG mistake and when he realized that I was aware of the mistake (or their short cut, I'm not sure if it was a mistake or if they were just hoping we wouldn't notice until they were gone??) they disappeared. He will not return my calls, texts and didn't show up for scheduled appointment. Francisco painted all of the trim on our main floor and in the entry. It looked lovely but on they day they finished I saw their left over paint and realized they painted over OIL based paint with LATEX paint. No priming, no sanding, just slapped on latex paint. It peels right off. When I first contacted Francisco he acknowledged the mistake, said he didn't know it was oil, agreed it would peel off and needed to be sanded down, primed and painted with oil paint. He said not to worry, they would fix their mistake. But then he disappeared. They didn't even collect the last half of the payment, I'm assuming, because it will be very time consuming to fix such a big mistake. It's going to cost me a fortune to have someone come in and strip all the painting they did and re do it properly. Very disappointed because they are a nice group of painters. Unfortunately they left me with a big mess to clean up.
