My truck had several little things going on and I was deciding whether it was worth it or not to keep it OR just scrap it and get a new car altogether. After feeling a little ripped off per my last mechanic I decided to check Angie's List and found Bear Valley Service LLC. I decided to take it in to get a 2nd opinion to see if their assessment was in line with what I already knew needed to be repaired on my truck. Well, all of the items Bear Valley found were not surprises and I was happy to find their prices were reasonable. Overall, Brett told me my truck was actually in good condition and there was no reason why it couldn't last a lot longer once these repairs were completed. A few weeks later, I took it in to get the major repairs from the list completed (engine mounts, oil gasket / leak repair). Bear Valley was true to the quote and the true test came this past weekend when I drove to Alabama. The truck did great. I recommend Bear Valley because they were very professional and I didn't feel that they were padding the hours or adding extra repairs to take advantage. I worked specifically with Brett and he was great. My truck is now 11 years old so of course, repairs will come up just due to age, but I will feel comfortable taking it to Brett and his team for ongoing longevity.

I purchased our 2007 Land Rover from Bear Valley in July 2010. I've taken the vehicle there for major service interval work since I've owned it.
Highlights:

• Very professional. Brett is the most professional, well-rounded and courteous service manager I've encountered.
• Prices. It's a Land Rover, so nothing is cheap; having said that, the work at Bear Valley is first-rate and the prices are significantly less than the Land Rover dealerships in the area.
• Specialized. Land Rovers are their business. They know the ins-and-outs, the common faults and things to be careful about. I feel as though they really DO have a custodial relationship with me and my vehicle.

Appointments. Easy and accommodating.
