I am quite pleased with this fine mortgage company. They sure take care of their customers and will go to bat for you. They earned my trust and respect. I would be happy to send business their way since they took such good care of me.

We contacted our current mortgage company in May of 2006, Countrywide, to refinance our VA loan and second mortgage. The gentleman we talked to took our information, and about a week later we received paperwork. It was for a conventional loan, and when I told him it was supposed to be a VA loan, he told me it didn't make any difference. It never occurred to me that he wouldn't tell me the truth. The paperwork showed PMI, which I questioned, and he told me it was unavoidable. I should have checked all this myself, but I was trusting. Some time after the closing when our circumstances were better and I had time, I checked on this at the VA website and discovered that it states clearly there is no PMI on a VA loan. The closing costs would have been less on a VA loan as well. When I called Countrywide this year, the representative argued with me and was not willing to make a correction.

WE REDUCED OUR MORTGAGE FROM 30 TO 15 YEARS BUT KEPT THE BALANCE THE SAME. THE PAPERWORK AT FIRST WAS QUICK AND EASY. APPROVAL WITHIN 20 MINUTES. CLOSING OF COURSE REQUIRED SIGNING YOUR NAME A LOT. WE DID NOT RECEIVE OUR BREAKDOWN AS EARLY AS WE WOULD HAVE LIKED, BUT IT WAS ACCURATE.
