House Cleaning
Glenda (the owner) had GREAT references (which we now suspect may be friends) and started off fine the first day of work. Not just fine...PERFECT. After that it went downhill rapidly...with an excuse every time. Showing up late without calling, seemingly unable to plan her time, and sometimes missing key spots completely while, at the same time, other areas would be spotless and perfect. In other words, total inconsistency with no way of predicting what would come the next week. It was literally one extreme or the other. For our last session she was right on time (without us having to call and find out where she was 30-60 minutes later) and did a perfect job, all smiles and pleasantry. And the following week? A total no-show. She didn't even return our calls even after 3 full days had passed. Not the most professional or grown-up way to quit a job, is it? Our advice is to beware. Take the smiles and references with a grain of salt if you value consistency and dislike excuses.
