I use them all the time. They were on time. They got everything taken care of. They cleaned up their mess. They're really good.

They came in and checked the filters. They cleaned out the ducts to make sure everything was clean and ready to go. They took the temperature to make sure everything cooled correctly in an appropriate time. They are very detail oriented. I don't have any improvements they can improve upon, they did great.

Terrible experience. I knew what I wanted, the Carrier Infinity Greenspeed, so they didn't have to sell me. They installed it sideways in my basement on a concrete wall with duct work above it (touching my wood floors and joists) so that it completely blocks my water main and kitchen plumbing. They destroyed the vapor barrier in the crawl space and did not seal any of the vents they installed so I could see day light through my floors in places, so now, I have to winterize all over again. Worse, they cut out part of the main load bearing foundation,without reinforcing it, to put ductwork through.
They destroyed sizeable chunks of the blown in foam insulation I had put in all crawl space. They cut holes in the well insulated door I had made to my crawlspace to run 2 ducts outside, under the porch which left large holes around the vents where cold air blows in on my copper pipes, most of which are located right there. They damaged my bathroom wall and tile. After 9 months of waiting for them to make good on the promise to fix all the damage they did, he is now too busy to be bothered, acts frustrated I even ask. He is not willing to repair the damage nor reimburse me if I pay for it. And they never pulled a permit to do the work. The Carrier is great, but I just wish I had not let thinking Mr. Keith is a nice man sway me in his direction. I did not feel his installers were professional and question the whole company's competence. According to one that was sent out once, employee turnover is high and most customers do complain. I know some of who installed my unit no longer work there. I so regret hiring them, a very expensive mistake when you're spending $11,400.00. And ps, my house is 1 store and just under 1400 sq. ft.

I've had Keith out twice to quote a new multi unit ductless system for a house I am renovating. First found him through the TVA contractor's list. Decided to wait first year and second year, was ready to pull the trigger when discussions with them revealed that I should wait until I replace the exterior siding for installation. Added to that, I am putting new drywall in 2 locations where I plan to mount the indoor units, so it made no sense to consider the new system until that was done, too. They told me it made sense to wait to have the new system installed rather than the typical "Buy it now" sales pitch. Quote was lower for the same system and same work than other quotes.
Then my existing unit developed an abnormal electric buzz sound, so I turned it off and called them. They came and repaired it for $140 and now I will continue with it until the exterior siding is replace in 2014 and use them to install my new system when the time is right in 2014. I am glad I got a chance to see what it's like if you have a problem before they install my new system. Now I don't simply choose them for their bid, but for their service, professionalism and truly home-owner friendly attitudes.

Their service was fantastic. I felt that their price was reasonable and fair although a lot of my friends said that it was high. After they took the vents down, they re-caulked everything. There was one room that we always felt hot in the summer and cold in winter. They found one of the tubes that goes on the vent itself wasn't fully in place when they went up to the attic. They put it in place and they taped it. Now there is a big difference in that room. I was quite pleased with them; I was very happy with the men that came to the house. Their responsiveness was very fast. They were on time and were very polite. They were very friendly and helpful in any way that they could be.

Prior to my retirement my work experience included air conditioning and refrigeration. So when I began to get quotes for a heat pump system for my new home, I was supprised at the results.

I had closed cell foam insulation installed in both the walls and ceiling of my new home. This is the most efficient insulation available. Some of the quotes recommended an excess of up to 4 tons of A/C. It became clear that most all the contractors did not have a clue how to properly size the A/C system.

I had Tim Keith with Keith Heating and Air Conditioning to look at my application and quote the job. Tim recognized the value of the foam insulation and quoted a system that was more realistic to the real heat load demand. This house has three floors with different loads for each floor. Tim install a zone control system with a single heat pump with three thermostats.

I am the type that does a lot of research before making a decision. I had investigated the zone control approach and thought this to be an ideal solution for an A/C system. Tim was the only contractor to make this his recomendation. All the rest of the A/C contractors were not comfortable installing zone controls for whatever reasons. The system has performed as expected with zero problems or suprizes.

Update: After the installation I noticed a problem with the defrost cycle on the condenser and improper operation of the auxilary heat strip. I made a call to Tim Keith and the problem was resolved in a timely manner.

This system has kept us very comfortable and our power bills have been very resonable.

I would not recommend them. They didn't do the job correctly and they didn't follow through to make it right to my satisfaction. I tried to negotiate with them and they were not interested in reimbursing me for some things I thought should have been reimbursed. The original price was probably fair. I called them for one emergency situation and they didn't come at all because it was supposed to snow. The workman said that he wasn't going to come because he was going to church. They were punctual the rest of the time.

We were having a lot of problems with our AC unit, We had a couple of quotes that we use and we was not the cheapest but the unit and the information he was providing was good. I had decided to leave for when they were going to install the unit. They spent 2 days doing the duct work and installing the new unit. The removed the old one and were able to salvage some items to be donated.
