Brown Heating & Air Conditioning

We couldn't be happier with Brown Heating & Air Conditioning , and have recommended him many times.
We have depended on David Brown for the past 16 years.  He is always knowledgeable & professional.  His prices can't be beat.  he does not try to sell you anything that you do not need.  The first time we called him was to sort out our whole (new) house.  The builder had done some very wrong routing of ductwork that caused condensation to run into the furnace.    David figured it out & did the rerouting.  It's been fine ever since.
When we finished the upstairs, David did the HVAC install.  At the time our son was about 11.  David let him tag along & he explained everything to him, so nicely.  (definitely above & beyond the call of duty!) This was a heat pump & electric furnace & all the ductwork.  14 years later Everything still works fine.
The next time we used David was after lightning took out the outside A/C   That had to be replaced, and he found us a good deal on one.  The stator switch thing failed after another near lightning strike.  David came right out & fixed it.

We were very happy. They are good in testing and very honest.

Sometime on the afternoon of 8/11, our heat pump unit stopped cooling our home. My wife came home to a very hot house as the temperature was in the mid 90's outside. She called a friend of ours that has a heating & cooling business. He was out of town and recommended that we call Mr David Brown, owner of Brown Heating & Air Conditioning. He was very busy and told us he would come over a soon as possible. We didn't expect to see him until the next morning, because of all the service calls that people needed, during the very hot weather. Mr Brown showed up in less than two hours. During that time I had shut the system down and restarted it twice, at which time it began to cool again. Mr Brown thought my system froze up and thawed out, at which time it began to work. He then checked the system over and pressure tested to make sure we weren't low on freon. When it came time to pay, he really did not want to charge us anything because the system was working again when he got there. I insisted he take a check for $35 for promptly coming over to help us. He is a very professional, polite & courteous man. We will continue to use him for our heating & cooling needs and highly recommend his company to others in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area.
