The pictures were actually framed by employee Mark. 1) At pick up it was seen and brought to framer Mark's attention that the cloth elephants were crooked, one more so in one picture than the other. Mark came up with several excuses for his shoddy workmanship, primarily one being that he was unable to stretch the cloth evenly. I asked him why, if he was having difficulty, he didn't call me to decide how to procede...he had no answer. He proceded, ignoring the fact that the presentations were going to be crooked. The Manager, Ann Marie, was called but was uncooperative and unhelpful. I was told they could unmount the artwork or I could take it crooked. I was concerned that unmounting it might damage it so I took it. 2) I went to hang them about a week later only to find out that the frames are one-half inch different in size; a noticable different as they are hung as a pair, one above the other. 3) Finally, after a week had gone by, my wife mentioned that I needed to get the fingerprints off the glass. Lo and behold, the fingerprints are on the INSIDE of the glass frame. This has turned out to be a disaster on all fronts. Unprofessional work, inattention to details, and an unwillingness to make it right. I have commisioned a lot of artwork, in expensive frames, but have never experienced this level of incompetence before. However, as I point out to visitors, these pictures serve as a monument to poor performance and a Manager who would rather "protect" an incompetent employee than deal with customer satisifaction. I would not use them again. There are plenty of professional framers in Rome, GA who I'm sure can do much better work.
