He charged me 1/2 my money down and had me sign a contract and he did not come to do the work or buy any materials. He constantly not calling me back and saying he is busy buying land bank houses or doing someone else's home. He had told me that he do not like working for those who live in the Detroit Area because them people gives him trouble. He reported that he like working for those who live in Ann Arbor, Farmington Hills or etc. I informed him that you came to get my money and never showed back up. Its been 1 week now. I also had told him that I live in Warren MI and I don't live in Detroit. He had said all of these things after he had collected my money. He act as though me and my husband is bothering him and he promised to do the work. He have multiple excuses as to why he has not come to do the work as evidence by his workers did not show and etc. Also, my brother in law had recommended him, but had told me to hire him at my own risk due to Mendez had collected money from him and had taken months to finish his home due to Mendez not being professional or dependable. I would not recommend him to do no one's work or to give him any money before he gets started.
