Went very well

They completed the job in 2 days and cleaned up the job site.  I appreciated how they listened to my needs.  I have two dogs and one of them is small and an escape artist.  They suggested putting the lowest horizontal board at the bottom of the fence to prevent future escapes.

River City Fence were very good. They worked very well, did a very good job and were very understanding because we had to move the dates around a couple of times. They worked well with us.

Very responsive, punctual.  Good quality work.  Very good price for the service.

It went ok.  The initial fence didn't actual enclose the backyard fully and the dogs got out almost immediately.  Turns out they missed one little spot.  They did come back to fix it, but billed us the additional cost of materials which seems fair.

They were really great. They were prompt and got it done real quickly. They gave me feedback on what was happening around that property.

The experience was fairly good. The quality was good and I did not find them too overpriced; considering what they had to do. They had to clear a lot of shrubs and trees which they also took away; which was nice. I will use them again in the future.

This was a very unusual job and they had a great idea to make it work.  Also very accommodating with my time frame, which was dependent on getting my deck stained first, which was dependent on fall weather.

Individual identified as Teddy came to my home and made what I consider a reasonable estimate to replace and reset fence damage from Labor day storm. After going around and around with the insurance company I was finally able to get the work done. Last week I called and Teddy represented he would be able to do the work 11-14 or 11-15 in the AM. However, River City Fence was a no show no call on both days.

I called this morning 11-17 to inquire the status of getting the service done. I got a song and dance about being covered up, all the rain, other jobs "I have a lot of money in". I said I understood about being busy as well as the weather issue. My concern was the lack of professional courtesy of a phone call for an update. A potential customer should never be hit over the head with excuses such as I'm busy, I've got other jobs that are worth more than yours, you can call someone else or if your are impatient. The simple courtesy of a return call can go a long way to maintain or create a business relationship.

I would highly discourage anyone to use this company as he was completely rude, disrespectful and paid no attention to my requests for this privacy fence.  As a matter of fact, he walked off the job and I was left to hire another fence company to complete the job he started and correct the problems from his work.  Extremely disappointed in his attitude and lack of professionalism.

We had a railing installed for our concrete driveway.  We need the railing for safety  purposes, since there is a very steep drop off on the driveway's edge.  We have small children, so it was huge safety issue.  Teddy made great suggestions for us in regard to products and what was best for our situation (such as the railing distance so little children won't get their head stuck in it!).We are so pleased.  It looks great! Was installed in two consecutive days.  Now my kids can play in the driveway and carport safely. We plan on using them again for a cedar fence for the perimeter our our property in the future.  This has been my first good experience with anyone doing any type of service for my home. 

They were not the least expensive of the bids, but were very timely and responsive and finished the job quickly and professionally. I needed a fence installed quickly before going on vacation and they got it done with time to spare.

Teddy has a great business ethic and manner about him. He contacted us immediately and without fail. He arrived on the day and at the time he said he would each time he was expected. Teddy offered suggestions and ideas after carefully listening to what we needed.
We thoroughly enjoyed having River Fence install our cedar fence, as well as our farm fence for our garden! Teddy made this experience one that was so positive and professional but yet met us on a personal level. We will not hesitate to call again and are planning on hiring him in the fall to help us with the plan for the front yard next.

A 65 foot hackberry tree fell on our back fence, I tried several other fence places and River City fence representative was the most professional and punctual. He gave a written estimate. The crew were punctual and did a good job repairing and placing the part of the fence the tree had crushed.  They dug the posts and did a good cleanup.  I am very satisfied with the work they did.

I called River City Fencing with an urgent need to have my fence repaired. I received a call back right away and explained my problem. River City Fencing showed up within hours and gave me an estimate and solution to the problem. He said that he was booked with jobs but would come back the very next day after finishing his scheduled jobs. Two River City Fencing workers showed up in the rain and fixed my fencing issue, they worked into the night and did fantastic job. I all ready have my next job scheduled with them to cement around the fencing to prevent digging from my dogs. I highly recommend this company, hard workers and are solution based problem solvers. I am very happy with the job completed in the rain and into the late evening.

River City Fence definitely receives straight A's from us. Incredible job. And the compliments we have received definitely support the grades!

I Called River City Fence and asked for a quote for a small dog fence. I wanted a custom design to fit the mid century modern house we just purchased. I gave Teddy some pictures of designs we liked and he designed a perfect fence for us. There were some delays getting started, but this happened across the Thanksgiving holiday. Once the project began they were very quick to finish up, at our agreed cost and with very acceptable quality. They really did a great job and seemed proud of their work.

The guy cut the fence section and told us to call when the sewer line was in place and we needed the fence re-installed. We did so and he said he would come the next morning to do it. We really wanted the open section back in place so we could let the dog back outside. He did not show up or call. When my husband called he got VM, left a message and someone did call him back fairly soon. She said he would be here in 20-30 minutes, which he was and did the repair. Our only beef was the same one we have experienced with so many contractors - they don't show up when they say they will and don't call to let you know. They did a good job and I would use them again, but they are kind of like Comcast - will be there between ______ and _______.

Teddy came and gave an estimate on 2 jobs as described above. He was prompt and courteous. Fair pricing and excellent quality. He showed up, did the jobs, no fuss and no mess. He went above and beyond!

After calling several local fence companies and getting very little responses, I checked the Angie's List website for recommendations and found River City to have a very good rating. Called and owner came out next day (in the rain) and looked over project and e-mailed estimate to me. They were not the lowest or the highest but I deceided to go with them anyway. They were the only estimate that I received that would give me the gates I wanted. I have a very wide driveway and only wanted 2 gates. Everyone else said it would be too expensive for only 2 gates and wanted to put a pole in the middle of my driveway to put up 4 gates. Not only did River City estimate include the size gates I wanted, they even made them right there in my driveway to fit exactly. Did a great job. Several of my neighbors and co-workers have asked for their name and number.

It went great. We were under a time deadline to move the dog from out previous dwelling and they made sure to get the job done so we met that deadline. And the quality is great.

Teddy called back and set an appointment to do an estimate the same day. Came, gave the estimate, and was upfront about how he arrived at that cost. Once the supplies had been ordered and arrived the work began. This was delayed a bit because of weather and previously scheduled vacations. (that Teddy told me about when we were working out an schedule) The fence was installed in a few days, with Teddy working extra on a Saturday even.

The job was to start on Friday, which was the day we moved in to our new home and completed the following Monday. They showed up on time Friday morning and went straight to work. They were also careful to keep their vehicles out of the way of our movers. They worked on Friday without any problems, or even any breaks and left after the first part of the job was completed. They called later on Friday and asked if they could complete the job the next day, Saturday, instead of waiting until Monday, which was wonderful for us (we have two dogs & needed a fence )Saturday morning I woke up and was surprised that they were there already working. They completed the job earlier than we expected and for the original price. Not only was their work and their work ethic above my expectation, but their C/S was wonderful. They were polite & helpful with questions. But most of all they worked, no frills just worked. I would use them again & feel comfortable saying I highly recommend this company.
