Innovative Contractors, LLC

Chris came and measured the driveway and provided us with an estimate. After securing several bids, we chose Innovative Contractors, LLC. On the designated date, Chris and his crew arrived. After laying out the equipment, the demolition began. Well into the process, it was apparent we had an unusual driveway that was the exception to the rule. Instead of the usual 4 inches. the driveway depth ranged from 8 inches to 2 feet. It was a mess under there. They removed the demolition material, graded the under surface, covered the under-surface with a geothermal concrete blanket, made sure the new driveway will have the proper slant correcting a major problem the old driveway had. They filled the driveway with gravel. Here their progress was hindered by major rain occurring over several days. Finally, they got a break and were able to pour. Our neighbors all commented on how hard Chris' crew worked and that the driveway truly was a work of art. At least one of them is obtaining a quote from Chris.
Chris and his crew were very professional, courteous and congenial. They always answered our questions and even anticipated questions at times.

Unfortunately Innovative Contractors do not provide follow-up when a problem arises. Chris has been promising me for 2 years to come back an do a patch and answer some questions as to why the concrete has been cracking and hole appearing. and keeps saying he will come but must attend to another job.

It was a couple hours of work. They did a good job. The price could have been a little bit cheaper.

It didn't go well and they ended up taking three months to finish it. They were first going to put it up with rotten boards that had bugs crawling in them and stuff. This was what he was going to build it with and he also put in the wrong posts. We wanted 6x6 posts because it was a horse shed and he put 4x4 posts in. I had already paid him half the money and then he said that he wasn't going to replace it because they were already there. He was not going to finish it and was still going to take half of the money because we had the wood. He was going to keep the wood there, which was rotten. My husband went to work and did a blueprint of exactly what we wanted so he could look at it step by step on what to do, but we went round and round with him. He did a good job once it all came around and he actually did it, but it took a couple of months. He didn't work on it himself and had other people come who were doing things wrong.

They were very good. I thought they were pretty reasonable. I was very pleased and the work turned out well. They did the design on it and it turned out really good. Their demeanor and customer service was good. I talked back and forth with them on what to do. 

Chris got an estimate together quickly for us and got the work finished in just a few days so we could get moved in quickly.

I think they performed good work. The price was decent for the area. They were a little limited on people, so it took a while to get anything actually accomplished. I set my schedule around their's, but generally they were okay.

Chris said he would be glad to come by and take a look and give an estimate. The estimate seemed very reasonable so I asked Chris to come back and do the repairs.. Everything was done in one afternoon and I am very pleased with the work done. Chris was great.

The price was good and they were very responsive and punctual.  They did an excellent job.

As I mentioned, we had storm damage and had some other renovation we needed on our home.  I wanted one contractor to handle it all for us.  I didn't have time (due to work, family wedding, and moving out of state) to deal with multiple contractors, etc.  We had to work within our budget and work with the insurance company.  Innovative Contractors (Chris Powell) worked hard to stay in my renovation budget, work with the insurance company, and adjust to my time constraints.  He and his crews were professional, handled a variety of jobs for us, and did great work.  We had them do roofing, siding, gutters, doors, window, and deck.  They used materials that worked really well with my house.  I never felt pressured to go outside my budget.  I communicated up front what we needed, why, and how we needed the process to work.  I appreciate their willingness and flexibility.  I would definitely use them again for any home repairs or renovation!

I was very pleased with the quality of work that was done at my home. I did not give a excellent score on price because the cost of the higher quality material in the end was not what I was expecting. The owner did work with me to reach a fair price. I am glad I hired this company and would hire them again.
