It was expensive. They charge me $125 every three months and I paid about $900 for them putting little poison down in the ground all around my house. It was a little bit high. They did it just to prevent them.

They did alright except that I discontinued it. They charge $900 for putting those things in the ground all around and I thought their price was good but then they charged at $125 every 3 months for the upkeep. I don't really dislike anything, I just didn't like the $125 every 3 months.

This company is great. Office staff was very nice, pleasant and efficient. Karen Oliver called back and set a time to be here. I think she came within two hours. She was wonderful!! She made my daughter-in-law and I feel confident she would take care of our problem. She checked the house, set traps, answered our questions and made provisions to return. She came to remove the PEST early the next morning. (I called that morning). Karen is someone you look forward to seeing even if it means to take care of a yucky problem.

We hired Enviroguard to perfrom two services. We were in the process of purchasing our home and they performed a termite inspection as well as pest control services before and after moving into the home. Prior to moving into the home, we hired them to "bomb" the house for bugs. Immediately after moving in, they came back twice to combat cockroaches that existed prior to our homeownership.
Upon the initial termite inspection, Enviroguard determined there was "no sign of termite activity" in or around our home prior to closing on our property. After 3 visits to our home to combat the cockroaches, we were still experiencing zero decline in cockroach activity. So we hired another company to see if we could get the results we were looking for. Thankfully, the new company was successful in eliminating the problem. In my opinion, at the end of the day, elimination of the pests is the point of a pest control service. Anything less is a complete waste of money.
We also decided our home needed a temite prevention system installed as the previous owners never installed such a system. Again, due to the lack of performance with pest control services as stated above, we hired a separate company to install our termite prevention system. In order to install the system, the new company performed a thorough termite inspection as the system comes with a warranty that states should any termite activity ever exist post installation, they will cover any and all damages to repair. After conducting the initial inspection, several areas of termite activity were found on the perimeter of our property and in many cases, were within 5' or less of our home. I was told by the new company that when termites are found (stumps / in the ground / decking / etc) this close to the home, it is "extremely likely" the termites are also inside the home. To eliminate the existance of the termites and protect our home in the future, we had to pay $1,900 for a chemical that would kill any possible termites inside the home.
Had Enviroguard been thorough and honest with us with their termite inspection, this expense would have been avoided and the sellers would have burdened the expense. I have contacted the owner of this company and explained the incompetence of his services on the pest control as well as the results of the termite inspection. He has said that he will follow up with me on addressing the expenses I have incurred as a result of their inability to eliminate our cockroach problems as well as the more serious issue of the termite inspection. However, from a service perspective and follow up, the company was great.
Due to our problems with cockroaches and being educated by the new providers of the chemicals and application, I have learned several things about pest control. The actual product used for pest control as well as the manner in which it's applied by Enviroguard is subpar. My experience would indicate they aren't pest "elimation" experts. They apply a chemical in basic ways and if it isn't effective, they continue to repeat the same process with the same chemical.
As far as the termite inspection, how these blatant and obvious activity areas could be overlooked or at a minimum mentioned to me as a possible "area of concern", are troubling. Had they been thorough and walked us through the possible concern areas, it would have saved me a significant amount of money.

They are from Angie's List. I think they are very reasonable. I did do some comparison with some other termite companies and I felt like what I got from them was very reasonable. Their staff is very personable and very thorough in what they have done. They have been very responsive. I am very satisfied and I have also recommended them to a friend. The reason I went on Angie's List was to be able to look at things and that is how I got to them. I was looking for a company that also would not dump millions of gallons of pesticides outside my house. A lot of those termite companies come in and just pour gallons of pesticide all around the exterior of my home. I am very green conscious. I have read and done a lot of research about what is considered to be the most current green ways that I can address the termite issue. That's what led me to someone that did the sentricon system. That's the one where they do the bait traps in the ground so many feet on the perimeter of my house. They are 10 to 15 feet from the perimeter of my house. It's not just interesting but it's also proven. There are several companies in Chattanooga that are engaging in a green effort of contractors. They are joining together in terms of environmentally conscious and yet effective ways to deal with traditional kind of issues that home owners face. The people with new homes are using sentricon system. I am engaged with an annual contract with Enviroguard Pest Control.

They came out fast and found the nest in the door jam of our car fast and got rid of it. We had two stings at the passenger's side of the but hadn't seen the nest. They also left a trap to catch any remaining wasps that might be looking for their nest and made sure there were no wasps inside the car. Now we can feel safe in our front yard and car again. They were friendly and reasonable in price. They also avoid the use of highly toxic chemicals. I would highly recommend Enviroguard for your pest removal needs.
