Rodney Snyder, owner of All Temp Service (ATS) and his employee Eduardo, provided parts and labor at my request to improve and correct HVAC and dryer issues at the home I had just purchased including those identified by our home inspector. At my request for an estimate of what it would cost to resolve certain issues, Rodney gave me two prices, a low and a high one. He said the the lower cost was the likely cost with the higher amount being the estimated charge if unforeseen expenses were incurred. However, the cost he ultimately charged to resolve those issues was $400 higher than the higher amount ($1,535) he had provided with no prior notice given or approval sought by Rodney. For those interested in reading more about this and other issues involved, I have included in image format my initial letter of concerns sent to Rodney, ATS's first and only response to date and my subsequent follow up communications and requests for responses and resolution which have been sent twice over a 4 month period with no further reply from ATS. Once you’ve read this account, you’ll have a better handle on what to think and do about ATS.

The service tech was really nice but the original scope of work was $200 and the bill we received was $650!! My wife and I were shell shock to say the least. When we asked why the drastic increase in price all he could say was "sometimes these things happen". Not very comforting when you're on the wrong side of a bait and switch 🤥. Lesson learned, we will be useing a more trustworthy company for any future work.
