The men that worked on my office did an outstanding job and were extremely professional. After finishing the job on the first day, I wasn't completely satisfied with everything, so Devante, Otis, and Justice drove over 80 miles the very next day to complete the job. Devante, who was the crew leader, was very understanding and polite throughout the experience. I would definitely hire them again in the future!

Worst experience ever! COMPLETE SCAM. Friendly customer service but they are total crooks. Bait and switch operation. I wish I had read the many negative reviews prior to ever contacting these people. They give you a glossy pamphlet with before and after photos, develop a contract with decent prices, then do a horrible job and want to charge you twice as much to come complete the job. They charged me over $13K and said my house would be leveled. The installer told me from the beginning that he thought the job was really insufficient, but he just did the work he was told to do by the company. They left trash all over my yard and DESTROYED my a/c ducts, costing my another $8K on a HVAC system that was only 2 years old. I sent letters with pictures to the owners and all I got back was a phone call from an annoyed-sounding scheduler who sent someone else out to look at it. That person also agreed that it was poorly done. He stuck in a few jacks and left. I had to call AGAIN because no contractor would install tile in a house that is still so lopsided (5" difference in some places) Third person came out to the house and agreed it was a terrible job, that I shouldn't have to pay more to get the work completed as it should have been the first time. So they sent me an invoice for an ADDITIONAL $8,400 to make the job right!! Lowcountry Foundation Repair is AWFUL! Go anywhere else or even do it yourself and you'll be better off!! ????

The first screwing that I got was when the little estimator came out and gave me a quote of nearly $9000.00 for something that shouldn't have cost more than $3000.00. I know this because I am a general contractor and could have and should have used my own guys, but I was too busy and was in a real bind for time. I reluctantly agreed to the price and signed the contract. They sent a bunch of yayhoos out several times and always someone different. They acted semi professional due to some elementary training I assume they went through. The work was done and they got alot of the bow out of the floor but not all of it. I was so over them I just wanted them gone. A year later it has settled again and I have doors that won't close all the way. I called for a warranty call and was informed they considered this maintenance and it would be a $180 charge for a maintenance call. I went off the grid. The State of Georgia has a seven year Statute of Limitations on any structural work performed. The problem is a defect in workmanship, not a maintenance issue. The idiot I spoke to didn't know crap about construction, or liability, or accountability. "I'll send an email to my manager". Another screw. If I ran my company like this I would be out of business. I see on alot of the reviews most of their work is in excess of $5000. If anyone needs their basement fixed for a fair price, and stand behind their work, give me a call!

"Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], Thank you for sharing further details about the project and our interactions. We appreciate your input, and we take your concerns seriously. Regarding the completion date on 6/21/2019, we made attempts to follow up with you after the installation. We left a voicemail asking for any questions, concerns, or issues, but at the time, you did not express any problems. You proceeded to call and pay the final balance, indicating your satisfaction with the work. We understand your confusion about the annual maintenance fee and the 25-year warranty we provide. Factors such as soil conditions, humidity, and building construction can contribute to changes over time that may require maintenance, even if the initial installation was performed correctly. The maintenance call, which was due on 12/17/2020, is an essential part of the warranty terms to check the work and make necessary adjustments. We want to clarify that while we attempt to lift the foundation, restoring it fully to its original position is subject to field conditions and is not guaranteed. Adjustments may be necessary to ensure the continued effectiveness of the installed system. Our general manager reached out to you to address your concerns. We understand that you were upset during the conversation, and we apologize for any frustration caused. We would like to emphasize that adjustments are sometimes necessary and do not necessarily indicate a poor installation. We appreciate your feedback and understand your desire for resolution. If there are any specific concerns or further details you would like us to address, please let us know. Your feedback is valuable, and we are committed to improving our services. Best regards, Lowcountry Foundation Repair"

Excellent ? They raised the sinking concrete, reinforced the rest and filled in all the cracks. My pool deck looks great again and we have no worries of kids tripping on the old uneven cracks.

I can't give a final judgement on anything since job has not been completed! Made an appointment in November to start in February. 3 days into the job and they don't come back. Only heard from team leader once and he claimed he needed a team to come with him since my flooring was retaining water. It's now June and my basement is worse than before. The flooring stays soaked and now the mold is out of control! I have heard nothing and am considering cancelling the contract. I am NOT happy about being put on the back burner for this long. The basement was a mess before, now it is ruined!

Very good. The job ran longer than initially estimated but this was due unforeseen / additional work required to provide a quality result. David Ritter, Foundation Team Leader, did an excellent job communicating the work performed as well as the work to be performed all week long. He was thoroughly professional and dedicated to providing a quality end product. His hands on approach during the final lift was reassuring to this homeowner. Dan Friesen performed a good initial assessment of the jobs and overview - we have had good previous experiences with Low Country Basement Systems and this helped guide our investment in having this work performed. Our dealings with Kathy Jones in the office were straightforward and correctly communicated. Every member of Low Country Basement Systems we came in contact with provided quality Service and among these, David Ritter stands out as the epitome of an installation professional.

At first the designed solution did come close to resolving the problem. LCB saw and acknowledged. LCB manager contacted me to come and investigate the issue. He re-evaluated the design; moving a smartjack which his did come out to execute. The re-design did come close to resolving the issue but started to exceed the max load of the house beam, starting to crush the wood beam. This is a limitation of the house structural design and not of LCB workmanship or smartjack system.

We have had Lowcountry do three projects for us. All were done very professionally and at a very reasonable price for the work involved. The first project encompassed placing Smartjacks and beams to increase support in our crawlspace as well as replacing one main beam and numerous floor joists. Considering how low our crawlspace is, I was amazed that they were able to access the area and accomplish the work. Before calling Lowcountry, we had had a general contractor give us a price to do the work, and Lowcountry was tens of thousands of dollars less. The second job was placing Smartjacks in additional areas where the original construction did not have sufficient piers, to stop the floor from bouncing. This last job was encapsulating the entire crawlspace to take care of the moisture problem we have had for the nearly 40 years we have been in the house. The humidity under the house has been so high that it has caused mold and mildew to grow on all the wood surfaces. At one time, condensation formed on the underside of the floor insulation and dripped into the crawlspace (which was covered with another company's "moisture barrier" plastic sheeting), causing huge puddles of water sitting underneath the house and clinging to the overhead insulation. For years, the humidity under our house AND inside our house stayed way too high, but we were not aware of what was going on. The day Lowcountry started our encapsulation, the humidity under the house was 74%. I will try to add to this review in a few weeks and let everyone know how long it takes to dry out our crawlspace. If anyone is concerned about the noise of the dehumidifier, the only way I can hear it is if I put my ear directly on the carpet right above the machine. One thing I want to mention about the Lowcountry workers (especially Aaron and David) is that they were very polite, efficient, and thoughtful of our views as homeowners. The never used foul language and never slacked off from when they arrived in the morning until way later than I would have wanted to have been working. They worked steadily and efficiently. When they were finished, they cleaned everything up and reviewed the project with us. I have just come out from spending about an hour shimmying around under the house looking at the project, and I can say that it is amazing down there now. I would not hesitate to recommend Lowcountry Basements for anyone who needs serious work done on their crawlspace.

Overall performance was very good. Lowcountry presented their plan with a firm price for my review. The work was scheduled well ahead of time and the schedule was maintained. I was notified prior to work beginning and was kept well informed throughout. Work was performed as originally agreed to and home was left neat and clean after completion. Lowcountry guarantees work for 25 years.

They still were supposed to come back one more time. They should actually start all over again because their sales person was also the one that sort of made out the job description for their workers to do was not very well trained and did not  do a very good job of that so they sent some more people and they re-evaluated the situation and basically it's not finished yet but they have done some improvement.

It sunk 3/4 of an inch and they raised in 1/4 of an inch. Now we're left with the same problem initially. They will not come back out look at the problem. They schedule an appointment and then an emergency always comes up. This has happened the past three times now.

Original work schedule was delayed several times consisting of several weeks.  Eventually work was done, jacks installed. Could not make out if improvements made a difference in kitchen floor level. Was told someone would return to check if there was any settling, however no one to date has come back.  A phone call was made to ask for a follow-up visit but no one has called or visited.  It would have been nice to have followup to ensure work paid for was complete and holding up.

Arrived on time and went right to work.

The Hydraulic lifting system equipment that raised the piers failed from an electrical problem. They couldn't get it working so went to the home depot and bought some bottle jacks to complete the lifting.

The hydraulic lifting went really will. A two part epoxy mix was used and pumped under the slab to level it. This took special equipment. They were able to control the left and get the slab lifted to close up the gaps that were along the base of the walls in 3 bedroom on the far end of the house.

After they completed the toilet was not flushing, it turned out this was from the all day rain we had. When I talked about it with the owner, and I asked if the insurance would cover repairing the drain problem if it was the result of the lifting (insurance I paid an additional $100 for) the owner explained the insurance only covers if they drill through a pipe it does not cover damage caused from lifting the slab or incidental damage from the hydraulic material pumped under the slab. This is something the salesman said would cover any damage. It doesn't.

Overall the service was a very good value (compared to other quotes I had, which were double). The customer service was very good. Their equipment broke down in the middle of the project but they still came up with a solution to complete the work.
