The guy couldn't provide us with his general insurance to cover his performance. He lied about everything about himself and took our money when it was time to go for financing and we couldn't get it right away because we'd just bought the house. So, he was kind of a jerk and he never gave us back our money. We eventually went to court and the house is in lien.
