Chris did a superb job.  I would not use anyone else,  I will go directly to him for all my home IT needs.  I was looking for someone I could trust, that would provide advise on my IT needs and trouble shoot when issues arise.  Chris Padgett is precisely that.  Courteous and respectful.  And most of all trustworthy.

I called and left a message for Chris on a Sunday not expecting a call back until the begining of the week and he called back that same day and squeezed me in for that Monday evening. On time, professional, polite and knew what he was doing. The job took less than what was expected and it looks amazing. Could not say enough about this person and his business. I would hire him and anyone he recomends as he is a great hire!

It went fantastic. Initial visit from Mr Padgett to look at the set up and give us an estimate, which was great. A couple days later he installed our 65 inch TV on the wall above the fireplace mantle, installed our sound system, and provided necessary hardware at cost for the install, which included the highest quality HDMI cables, hardware to mount the TV and to hide the cables as well as a universal remote control. He also programmed the universal remote for us and everything works great. Fantastic recommendations on hardware and setup from him. I don't think I would go to anyone else for home theater type installations. We would go to him again without hesitation. It appears the Padgett name is no stranger to good business in Richmond Hill and this is no exception.

When we first started looking for someone to hook up our home theater, stereo, speakers, PS3, Wii, etc after moving to Savannah, we did not know where to go for good reliable service. We talked with some people and then did what we should have done in the first place. We went to Angie's List.
We looked up the service providers and read the reviews. Chris Padgett stood out as the kind of person we needed. We wanted someone who had experience in getting the most of our own equipment without selling all new stuff. We wanted someone who had the reputation for honesty and dependability. We did not want a company who rotated the actual installers. We wanted one person.
I have to say that Chris Padgett did a superb job for us. He asked us a lot of questions as to exactly what we wanted. We only had to buy a couple of things to accent what we already had. Chris is diligent, dependable and responsive. He is professional and pleasant to be around. He answered our one million questions (we are not high tech people to say the least) with patience. The knowledge he has gained over the years is very impressive.
I am not used to giving such high praise, but when I see outstanding service, I want to publicly recognize it. Chris definitely gets an A+ from us. We would not hesitate to recommend him and we will certainly call him if we need another set-up.

We wanted to mount our TV over our fireplace as it was the only place in the room to put it. We were concerned about appearance and wanted to make sure it was done properly. Made an appointment with Chris Padgett after reading the reviews on Angies list. He was prompt and professional. Came to house to take a look and offer suggestions as to where to put the DVR, the DVD player and the modem. He explained the materials needed and the cost of both materials and labor. We accepted the cost and her came back a few hours later to do the job. Worked for hours, drilled holes in wall, and in the shelves we have surrounding the fireplace for all the wires. He hid the holes with plate covers and hooked up all the equipment. Mounted the TV on a bracket and had everything up and running. He cleaned up after himself, no dust, wires or parts left behind. He got us into the network with the password on the bottom of the modem and had us up and running. Everything works beautifully, crystal clear picture and the work was tastefully done. No exposed wires or holes, everything hidden from view.

I was leaving town on Saturday so I was very happy that Chris could come on Friday. We knew the wiring was bad somewhere behind the drywall but had no idea where. Chris explained that he charges by the hour. $125 for the first and $75 thereafter. My husband thought he could fix it but I wanted to have it done before he came back. Chris said he could do a lot in an hour and he did. He found the problem within 30 minutes and did not need to tear out any drywall. He spent additional time labeling all the wires so we would know what went to each speaker. He did not go over his 1 hour so the fee was $125. I was very impressed. So was my husband when I told him what Chris had done. I am referring him to everyone I know now.

They stuck to the estimate they had given. I would use them again.

Chris is a professional at his craft. He was thorough, thoughtful, and helpful throughout the process, and it is obvious that he is proud of his work and will consider the project complete only when his client is completely satisfied. The fees for the services were exactly what he stated, and very reasonable based on my research. I expect to upgrade my system at a later date, and Chris Padgett will be the first person I call. Highly recommend.

The install went perfectly. Chris had to order two pieces of stereo equipment and once they came in - five days after the estimate - he was onsite right when he said he would be and he spent the next seven hours getting everything setup exactly like he said it would be. The system allows us to watch TV inside while listening to music outside if we wanted to. Or run the music on all speakers at once. It's fantastic. Chris spent about an hour going over how to work the remote - he was really patient. He left us his card and said if he had any problems to give him a call and he'd go over it again. About a month after he left sure enough we forgot how to do something. We called and he was able to walk us through it right then. We would definately use Padgett's Home Theater again.
