It didn't. I had to call him after he missed an appointment to go over the work I wanted done. Then he never came back (i.e. kept his appointment for estimate).

Called and was asked to text contact information. I followed up, and we heard nothing for 3 days. I reached out again, and he said he would come that same date. Then, without calling to follow up, he cancelled on us and said he would "get to us early next week". There was no follow-up call or text, and no email response. For someone with an "A" rating, I expected a lot more from him. This was poor customer service, and some lost business for them. Would not recommend, and will not contract for work with this company in the future. Then: I was threatened for posting an honest and factual review. I called and he was at a job, and he asked me to text contact information. I did. I did not demand he show; I asked if he could come for a quote, and he said yes. See the images for information on professionalism. Angie’s List staff assisted me in combining the reviews to give the opportunity to clearly show why I rated so low and recommend you would not contract with this provider.

Took multiple attempts to get a date. Once I did, they never showed. Two days and several messages later I got a message stating someone was sick and they had to reschedule. All reschedule attempts not answered.

Joseph showed up on time at first. Repair was going good. Repair was almost done, had to wait on a back ordered part to come in. Was informed part was in and repair would be finished. It has been almost a month ago and repair is not completed and now I can't get in contact with Joseph. Have sent text and phone messages, no response.

Work was done on time. Other problems were discovered when old Hardi board was removed and we were able to get the other repairs done easily. Now we just have to wait for a rain storm to check for leaks.

I contacted Jody to let him know the deck he built for us about 3 summers ago needed to be repainted. He let me know he had other jobs but would get back to us as soon as he could. A week or so later he notified me they (meaning him and his crew I thought.) would be over on Tuesday to start the job. When he came he brought a sub-contractor he used for painting jobs and the sub-contractor gave the deck a good clean, then said he would return the next day around 10:00 am as he had another job to go to first. The next day the sub-contractor did not show when expected and I texted Jody that he was not here as promised. Jody asked what time the sub-contractor was due and I told him 10AM. Well, it was almost 2pm before anyone showed up and the sub-contrator brought 2 helper with him. He showed them what to do and then left. They were to do a double coat on the entire deck. When they were ready to leave they said they did paint the deck itself several times as it dried, but only one coat on the railing and post as that was all that was needed. Herein is where my first problem came in that I was paying for 2 coats on the entire deck, and in my opinion when one says a double coat.. it doesn't mean going over where they painted a second time as they are still painting the first coat. A second coat means.... painting the entire deck... then repeat. Well, they splashed paint onto the house and left areas in between the deck boards undone, and got paint on the brick patio as well. The sub contractor was suppose to come back, but in the late AM Jody came by to supposedly finish the job. He looked it over, and left...then latter the sub-contractor came back and had another helper this time. They washed the paint off the house, and painted in between the boards and did a decent job. In the end the deck looks good, but we were not satisfied with the overall service and the price was too high. He doubled the price since we wanted 2 coat, even though it really took no more time. And they failed to do a second coat on the railings and post. He charged us $700 in labor and $190 for the paint. In our opinion he should have only charged about $700 at the most for the entire deck as that is what his sub-contractor told us he thought. He has yet to ever come and check the final job... This was the last time he will be asked to do any work for us.

Jody and his team did a great job! He was very professional, knowledgeable, and honest, taking care to explain what was being done and answering all questions. Great care was taken in the details and the worksite was left clean and organized at the end of every workday. We are very pleased with his work and have no hesitation in hiring him again when needed. It was a pleasure dealing with him throughout the entire process.

He kept calling, saying he would come over, but never did. He said he would do the service without doing an estimate first or coming by to look at things.

"This customer called and asked for an estimate on a Tuesday following hurricane Matthew. I let her know that we could come by and take a look at her issues that Friday. On Friday morning I called to reschedule for first thing Saturday morning because my son had his last game of the season (rescheduled due to the hurricane) that afternoon and she says to me you were suppose to start work today. I said no Mam, we scheduled an estimate ,no work. She goes on to tell me to forget about it and they would find someone else. I hope they did. Sorry for rescheduling you to the following day but as a single Father it was unavoidable."

The painters got paint on the carpet, wood floors, bathroom cabinet, outside window shutter, and around the mirrors and door knobs.  The paint started peeling off the downstairs window sills.  I called Jodie and he said he would be by the next week.  About 3 weeks later I called again and send an e-mail.  Several days later he responded with a smart e-mail and said it would take weeks or months to repaint because he was booked.  A week later at 9:00P.M. he called and said he would be by the next day.  When he arrived I told him of the paint everywhere and he immediately got it off the outside shutter.  He did not mention or remove paint from the other areas.  He has a Mexican couple doing the painting and they are not professional painters.  I an VERY, VERY, VERY. disappointed with the workmanship and the amount of money I paid for such a sorry job.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD I RECOMMEND HIM.
Response from Low Country Services LLC
"She had issues 4 months after job was complete. Went back because I stand behind my work and repainted the 5 window sills in question. They called me back to do another job which was to install gutter guards after the painting. Now a year later she has more issues and decided to lash out with a bad review. I encourage you to read all of my reviews and know this does not represent my company. This is personal. She is my sisters neighbor and there's some people in this world you just can't make happy no matter how far you go."

Jody came out the day after we contacted him to look at our broken dishwasher and make sure it wasn't continuing to leak until we could schedule an appointment with the installation company. He then came back the next week to do some minor repairs and home fixes. He was great to work with and will be asking him to return to help with some home updates that we would like to make in the near future.
