It was an excellent service, They were on time, professional and I was very pleased.

It was done and I had no real issues with it. They were fine.

STILL HAS NOT FIXED PROBLEM. FIXED A DIVERTER HOSE THEN SHOWED ME SOME RUSTY PARTS WHICH HAD NO EFFECT ON THE WATER POORING OUT OF THE UNIT. BEEN OUT SIX SEPERATE TIMES. JUST TIRED OF HAVING TO TAKE DRY VAC IN A SMALL ATIC AND SUCK WATER UP!

My husband and I have been utilizing Gerrald's Heating & Air Conditioning for the past 10 years.  Appointment made to inquire about strange noise.  Technicians came out, diagnosed the problem, made recommendation.  I called to make another appointment to have the blower replaced.  Technicians came out and replaced blower.  They told me the unit was low on Freon.  I noticed that this was the second time in the last 9 months that Freon was low.  Asked technician if this was normal.  Tech said no that there was more than likely a leak.  AC unit was approaching it's 14th year in our home.  Technician recommended new unit be installed.  Contacted Peggy at Gerrald's (I have been coordinating all of our home AC maintenance with her for the past 10 years).  With her help a new AC unit was ordered and installed in two days.  The replacement of the blower and the service charge was waived and we were charged as if we just had the new unit installed.  I am very satisfied with Gerrald's Heating and Air and definitely recommend their services to anyone in the Richmond Hill, GA area.

Called on a Wednesday.  Provider showed up late on a Friday.  
Provider replaced a $55 switch and charged $85 for labor, but he failed to test his work.  After he left, I set the HVAC on heat.  The temperature over the next 10 minutes actually DECLINED by a degree.  It was late on a Friday around 3:45.  I called about the problem at 4:05, and an answering service came on and told me they were closed and could not discuss until Monday morning.  
I am definitely shopping for other providers.  Peggy is nice, but in the end the work has to get done.

I wanted an Ultra-Aire whole house dehumidifier as I believe they are the most efficient and highest quality unit. They show two dealers in the Savannah market and I called both. Gerrald's promptly called back and set up an appointment for an estimate. The other firm never called. I agreed to the estimate and then didn't hear anything for several weeks. Called and the unit was en route from the manufacturer. When it arrived Gerrald's came out within the week and installed the unit. Quality of work on the installation was very good. 
I'm very happy with the purchase and installation. Home is much more comfortable with the relative humidity in the mid 50s when it is muggy outside.

The work was satisfactory for this service.  I have used them for 14 years.  I feel there has been some decline in their responsiveness and service.  14 years ago, they would have been an 'A', but I now feel that they are earning a 'B'.  They have become less responsive and professional over time.  It seems that they have been letting things slip more recently.  The company is not a disaster by any means, it's just not as good as it used to be.  I am considering dropping their service.

They are reliable. They notify you when it is time for them to come out. They show up on time. They are in and out in an hour and are very clean.

Overall the job went great. No installation issues at all. They were fast, courteous, and cleaned up behind themselves. I don't think that 5 k is a bargain for a 2 ton 13 seer unit, but it was a fair price for a quality installation of a good quality unit.

I've used them before. They are local. I don't know if it is the best deal around. I had a contract with them to do an inspection twice a year. They found a problem and if the problem was real, it was worth it. I haven?t had the problem fixed yet. I?m not sure what the going price is around here. Their quality is fine. I am going to shop around to see what the prices are.
