A & R Tree Svc

The crew arrived as promised and removed all branches, trees and stumps as agreed. They left the yard very clean. This company has a well organized crew and the heavy equipment necessary to do a fine job. It was a pleasure to watch them work and I will hire them again for the back yard.

We recently moved to Richmond Hill, and due to neglect, the landscape required immediate attention. A wood line on the side of the house encroached severely on the roof; tree limbs were rubbing the roof, necessitating the replacement of a section of ridge vent and several shingles. The service A&R provided was above and beyond what I expected. They were very responsive on the phone, immediately worked me into their tight schedule, showed up on time, and went right to work. They arrived with ALL necessary equipment, and were in and out in 1.5 hrs. The crew were very personable and easy to work with, and asked me several times how I'd like things trimmed. Randy runs an excellent outfit, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. He's definitely my go-to tree guy in Richmond Hill.

Awesome. These guys showed up on time and went straight to work. They were professional and fast. It took them 2 days to get the work done but they helped tremendously with everything that I asked and they figured out a way to make it all work. I can now see my home from the street, am not in danger of a tree falling on my neighbors home and would hire them again in the future to tree maintenance and trimming. Thanks Ryan!

It was amazing to watch Randy and his team work. They operated like a well oiled machine. Super professional and beyond excellent customer service! If you ever need any tree services don't hesitate to hire these guys.

Went well except they tore up my yard pretty good. They could not avoid this due to location of trees and size of their equipment.

I originally gave this firm an F because they never returned any of my calls. After posting the review, they did call and apologized. Apparently they had some telephone problems resulting in missed calls. They came back within three days of contacting me and did a fantastic job. I have used them before and I would use them again.

They had to work around a very old fence and a dozen other trees in the way. They did get their truck stuck in the backyard and had to have a tow truck pull it out. But, they smoothed out the ground and did not leave a mess. I would use them again.

The company came out gave me an estimate for the tree trimming and we schedule a day for service. I called the company to reschedule the appointment because of an unexpected (expensive) repair to my vehicle (Aug 2015). In Oct 2015, I called to reschedule the tree service and I have not had a response as of this posting.

The crew showed up the day I called for estimate. Completed the job in no time. Very professional crew and one very satisfied customer!

They cut down and removed 2 very tall dead pine trees. Went out of their way to protect our lawn from any possible damage and went above and beyond in cleaning up any debris. They even picked up all the small limbs and bark from the woods where the trees had fallen! Easy to schedule and even came out earlier then scheduled. They were excellent and we will definitely use them again!

This about the 4th time I have used them and they are just great. I will continue to keep using them and highly recommend them.

Difficult to schedule

We had a huge cedar tree that had taken over our front yard. A&R tree service was able to quickly give us a quote for the removal and the price was lower than I had been told to expect. When they came to remove the tree their workers were professional and quick. I was impressed with their whole operation.

it was a very satisfactory experience. They were very prompt in providing a cost, showed up the day of the work on time and were very professional in going about their work. The job was completed on time with no problems . The yard was completely cleaned as promised and even a little extra work I requested was completed with no extra charges. Overall a great experience.

He quickly responded with a quote which was $75 dollars less than competitor; I expected to pay $40-60, A&R charged me 50, while his competitor was going to charge $125 to remove a fallen, rotted tree. Rep was very courteous and completed work in an acceptable time frame. Would have liked to have rotted stump removed, but to be fair I did not instruct him of this, I simply assumed it would be part of the job. Overall an A- job, and I would use this company again.

the job went quickly and efficiently. the crew did exactly what was asked and if there was any questions, they asked me. While trimming, they came and asked if trees were trimmed to my liking did what I asked. The job was completed in one day.

Randy and his crew arrived on time in the early hours of the morning and went straight to work. I was impressed at how organized his team was and how each person knew their job and coordinated with each other. I was particularly impressed at how cordial and mannered each worker was. Not what you would expect from a rugged crew of ax-men. There was no cursing on the job and each behaved gentlemanly. Randy informed me that he is a Christian who was converted after his experiences while serving in the war in Iraq. His Christian ethics were certainly visible and made a positive statement to me. The quality of their work was nothing less than EXCELLENT. Not only did Randy and his crew remove the trees for which I had contracted, he also removed a large tree that was not in our original agreement and did not charge me anything for doing so. Understanding that I have battled cancer since 2006, Randy simply asked me to make a small donation to the cancer organization of my choice. How out of the ordinary is that! He also, at no extra charge, trimmed the remaining trees around my house to make them more aesthetically pleasing. When Randy and his crew completed their job, it was as if the trees they had removed were never there. My yard was left perfectly clean, with no trash or debris left anywhere. I feel that I got waaay more than for which I paid. Most other local tree service companies wanted considerably more than what Randy charged and I am certain there is no way they could have done a better job. A&R Tree Service exemplifies a rare standard found in businesses today, with professionalism, honesty, and ethics at the forefront. I recommend A&R Tree Service whole-heartedly and will not hesitate to use them again for all my tree-trimming/tree removal needs.

Randy was on time and did an outstanding job! He even removed the stump at no extra charge. The rate I ended up paying for the service was great! They cleaned up everything very well and hauled away the trash. I would highly recommend them!
