Mr. Brown and his son-in-law were an absolute pleasure to work with. From the minute I requested a quote, Mr. Brown was in touch with me, professional and punctual. The countertops are absolutely beautiful. The install was perfection, they cleaned up as if they were never there, and installed my new sink and faucet. If I could give 10 stars I would. Mr.Brown does business the way it should be done!

Most of my review is directed towards his son-in-law which he brought with him to cut my kitchen cabinet to fit my farmhouse sink. Regarding the countertop install, they were done to my satisfaction, but there is not a scenario where I could give anything higher than 3 stars since his son-in-law made for a negative 1-star experience. I handled it as best as I could without exploding and making a bad situation worse...his son-in-law had the audacity to open my refrigerator and remove food from it -never asked me if it was OK just went ahead and made himself at home. He talked a good game about how much he knew about cabinets and TWICE I specifically mentioned the space that needed quarter rounds and he made a quick glance at it and was like he knew. Of course, I could do quarter rounds on my own, I specifically asked him to because the gap was larger than normal and I didn't know where to begin on getting a bigger size but the first time I mentioned it he did a quick glance. When he showed up for the install I mentioned it again and nothing clicked until he started installing them and actually took a real look at them (which he should have done day 1) to see that the gap was larger than normal and you don't need to be at floor level to see the corner cabinet needed a big piece to cover the 3-5 inch gap. Yet I'm paying $100 for him to point out what I already knew and had been trying to tell him for him to only install half the kitchen. Then he points out every little thing he thinks is wrong with my house from the way I spackled a hole in a wall (which needed to be covered for the countertop install and would eventually have backsplash over it) to the way I installed a floating shelf (a temporary fixture to house small goods) to my front door lock. Why he ever thought anyone would need to explain their home install choices to him - a cabinet guy - is the definition of toxic masculinity ..then he made a sexist joke about naming my "first child after him"... what made him think I didn't have, wanted, or could even have children for that matter..so many issues with this guy who I didn't even choose for the sink cabinet work. That aside, Kenneth alone was easy to work with and had it not been for him bringing that guy I would have given at least 4 stars.

I liked the favorable reviews I had read about Brown's Kitchens &Baths, so my husband and I invited Mr. Brown to give us an estimate to replace some old kitchen counters, and to build a bar top where only a narrow shelf existed. Mr. Brown was professional from the beginning to the end of our project, telling us exactly what we needed, what we could expect with the installation, and what the cost would be. He delivered on all three counts. Installation went smoothly. He didn't rest until the finished project reflected his high standards. The original bid stood. There were no surprises and the finished product brought me joy. I even asked Ken to make me something extra and he did it for no extra charge. I would recommend Ken Brown's work to anyone in need of a kitchen remodel. I'm glad we found him!
